disagree. i guess u dont understand its no need for a center that cant shoot 3s with russ here. im find with a 7 footer. if he can shot 3s. thata the key. its not that the roxketa wanna play small. its they dont want any ome clohhinh the lane. if we had lopez we would start him now since he shots 3s
Not fighting for scraps, more taking the crumbs that are left. Owner isn’t “poor”, he is just super f****** cheap!!!
Sorry but you still need height at times against teams, especially ones that have centres or power forwards who shoot threes. PJ can't guard a tall centre who can shoot
ok to rebutall the game plan is to just out shoot them...cause like u saying u gonna be beat inside...the other team big gotta gaurd us on the other side. almoat no big can gaurd smalls on the perimter....n the math is 3s or more then 2s so u win
I think this writer needs to give CF credit on his byline. https://spacecityscoop.com/2020/02/09/7-players-houston-rockets-pursue-buyout-market/amp/6/
My primary attribute would be shooting. I appreciate we should probably get a rim protector , but our offense is gonna have to be really really good I think . Because just like our defense can jumpstart our offense , our offense can definitely jump start our defense by putting pressure on the opponent. But regardless , I just hope we get someone. We need to get another frontcourt body that MDA trusts in non-blowout situations. If we are pinning our hopes that pj , Covington, and sefalosha are gonna soak up all the 4/5 minutes in meaningful situations the rest of the season and the playoffs , then I say that’s not nearly enough. The minutes haven’t been crazy the last 2 games .. in the first because of foul trouble and the second because it was a blowout . Maybe we play house there too ? I think , like others have said that if we are smaller we have to play quicker and harder than the other team. Maybe our speed will wear them out ? Maybe their length will wear us down ? It’s a question of wills and being able to play at YOUR pace . I think in those kinds of situations you want to be able to spread the effort out over as many players as possible.
lose to jazz and sun, why Morey dont buy a player in buyout market? we need a center and a good backup for Gordon position
Dion Waiters MkG Harkless (if bought out, top priority) Bolden Biyombo (if bought out) Dragan Tyson, Thabo, Harty, Clemons are ill fits for new 5 out offense. House and McLemore become end of rotation players depending on who's hot on offense or creating stops on defense. Having more playable roster will allow team to stay fresh. Right now, 2 guys injured and 4 guys cannot do anything even when given playing time. That is half the active roster that cannot contribute to winning. Morey needs to sign MKG, Waiters and Bolden right now. Get Harkless, Biyombo when available and maybe even Dragan too.
6'10 Jonah Bolden? 6'11 Justin Patton? 7'0 Dragan Bender? Bolden is still my favorite of three, most athletic, most versatile skillset and longest (just under 7'4). MKG can be signed on Monday - ton of interested teams, mostly contenders (Mavs, Clips, Lakers, Rockets, Celtics, Bulls). Would sign Waiters too, Rockets need more scorers that can defend. Especially with EGo out for who knows how long.
past 3 games spoke it aloud (lal games its lbj ruined their key plays), we are in badly need more playable players to play to ensure more quality Ws, healthy rotation, and a better seed / optional matchup in playoff
God we need a legit shotblocking & rebounding center and PF. Sometimes things are traditional because they still work, ask Toronto when they had a frontline of Gasol/Ibaka, Siakam and Kawhi last year.
Tyler Johnson could be a good fit with the Rockets depending on how serious he is. He is the type of player that plays a lot better surrounded by good players.
Tyler Johnson might join in lal, cuz collision wont back this season lal got to realize they need a legit pg after the lose to us…too much burdon on lbj's shoulder (pg+sf) they will be all in to sign him
