Doubt it. Toronto is second in the Eastern Conference, and Gasol is out with a hamstring injury. They need Ibaka. Also, the Raptors are planning a big run at Giannis after next season, so they don’t want to take on any large, long-term salary commitments. Ibaka is a free agent to be.
Haha no, i actually quoted the wrong post for that exact reason, i read 18M and though it was about Thompson but quoted the wrong one lol
' Fair enough, but that was awhile back haha. He's too much for trade salary, who are we supposed to give up to get him? Im good fam...Im ALL THE WAY GOOD. I dont mean to come off as brash but im really not feeling that trade.
Why? Now they won't have to BS the media when they "couldn't come to an agreement with Mike, we wish him the best of luck" in the off-season. Tilman: "If he jumps, do we have to pay Laurel the rest of his salary?" Morey: "Well, it would be the right thing to do." Tilman: "I repeat: 'If he jumps, do we have to pay Laurel the rest of his salary?'"
Kinda agree, i'd like to keep House, although once we got Covington, a starting center would fill a bigger need imo
keeping my expectations low. The big that's coming in isn't expected to be playing more that limited minutes. Taj is still serviceable now and with a minor team friendly deal
I agree, I’m not a house fan and never jumped on that dumb house train but I think he would be fantastic off the bench but if we could land another player to replace him either via trade or buyout market I mean then so be it.
Longhorns have been a center factory for the last decade: Myles Turner, Jarrett Allen, Jaxson Hayes, Mo Bamba... It might stop there, though. Their 5-star freshman recruit, Will Baker, has been less than impressive. Shooting 1-25 from 3Pt is a way to keep your butt on the bench.
Robert Covington Spoiler: look Myles Turner Spoiler: look @NetsInsider if this happens, I'm saying it's because of you.
