when I say "narrative" with regard to the last two games, I'm mean I'm not prepared on so little sample size to say the low turnovers is anything other than a Team Directive to Fockass on winning the TO battle, or its a certain L, when combined with losing the rebounding battle ... I'm pretty sure MDA even said that was part of prep for DAL and NOLA.

 

Harden had an efficent box score, so dem haters should go back into their cave.

 

He was absolutely terrible for three quarters. Then the fourth quarter happened and you see why MDA left him in. He played an amazing 4th. Rebounds, slashing, threes. Defense.

 

The NBA is a business. They have to get the young “stars” up in popularity. Guys like Curry, Harden, WB, LBJ, Kawhi are old.

 

Zion Williamson dunked all over harden smh lol

 

He must nerve damage in his arse because his feet are glued to the floor, even when he's jumping.

 

35 year olds playing 38 minutes a game tend to do that.

 

Get serious, Tucker has always been vertically challenged.

He gets away with it with his 6'11 wingspan.

We got two 7 footers rotting on the bench, one of whom had 15 and 11 the last time he got significant mins and we are sticking with a 6'5 center and 6'6 pf lol. Can't really complain too much since we still won but this is def gonna backfire in the playoffs.

 

Bro, weve never ever needed that from him. We need him to be a knock down corner shooter and he cant because he has nerve damage in his right arm. Hes still giving it everything he has on defense.

It's like how Blake freakin' Griffin was the face of the NBA for a few years with his crazy dunks and offensive fouls. I never really understood it, because the man hadn't done sh*t yet and people were crowning him the next generational PF. Gotta give Griffin credit for reinventing his game after his athleticism (and the hype) died down though. Wonder if Zion can also make the adjustment as he learns to put less stress on his body.

 

Griffin was exciting. He sold tickets lol.

Giannis will win the MVP this year and Luka will win one in the next two years, assuming he keeps his production up.

 

So I was at the game today. Too close for comfort most of the time but it made it entertaining.

First off, Zion is huge and he is huffing and puffing out there. He is too damn big and his movement/running just doesn't seem fluid or natural. I just don't see how he is going to survive 82 games in the NBA for 10 years. I stand by my statement that he is overhyped and injuries will eventually ruin his career unless he leans out big time.

Second, we have no interior defense..mostly because MDA does not like players over 6'5". At one point someone in the crowd yelled, hey Dantoni! play a center!!!

Third, we can't make layups or finish at the rim. It was pathetic.

 

I would agree with that, especially seeing the rate at which Doncic is improving. But yeah although Griffin was definitely good TV he was nowhere near the caliber of a Giannis or a Luka (or a James Harden).

 

True. But you don’t need a player to be super talent. You just need fans to believe a guy is good enough to come spend their money lol.

 

I would love to argue against this, but I agree with basically every single word of this post lol.

Even when Russ drives and drops off passes to Clint, he has fumbly hands and frequently drops the ball. Even if he does receive the pass, there is plenty of time for the defender to push him out of the paint or foul him where he has been horrendous from the line.

I like Clint and think he is a valuable asset, I think he could be useful for 15-20 minutes a night. But if there is another team that wants him as a full-time starter and we can get a legit SF/PF starting level player in return, I think that might be a better option going forward.
