It's sad that I'm afraid to order any form of Chinese takeout now. My mom visits her home country of Bangladesh once a year. I'm sure many immigrant families do the same. I'm just afraid that I'll just order take out from a restaurant that has an employee who just came back from visiting China on vacation.
No joke, I'm avoiding the Chinese Community Center on weekends due to this reason right here. Idc if it's rumored or not, I'm not risking my life for a good Saturday morning workout. I also work off Rogerdale... I'm bringing lunch from home everyday. F**k all that other sh**.
As crazy as it sounds, I too hear people won't be eating Chinese food...Someone even said not going anywhere near an Asian type of restaurant, even Thai food, which I happen to love...Houston is a melting pop and very international, and while I agree being safe is a good thing, let's not go overboard and spread rumors about places being closed bc of this virus... On a side note, the spread of the virus reminds me of the movie "Outbreak"...crazy...
