Psht, leadership is overrated and you thinking Hardens career is over from one game is probably the stupidest thing I’ve read here and there are a lot of stupid things written here.
HIs mvp year was his best year defensively. The communication was on point with CP, Ariza, Tucker and Clint and James. Now you have the likes of House and Mclemore...
So it's House & Mclemore's fault Harden let's his man walk right past him? Not even getting in a defensive stance?
He coincidentally was also in the best shape of his life in the 2017-2018 season. CP3 was a good role model for Harden. 2017-2018 Harden was the best version of himself. He was held accountable. Harden has packed too many pounds where it's such an effort for him to move his feet around during an NBA game when he doesn't have the ball.
CP3 didn’t get traded because his leadership fell off. He got traded because he played like crap. Funny so CP3s choke job was a “team” effort yet Harden gets full blame. Ok carry on.
I'd like to ask TMac and Kobe what this Harden would have done to the Lakers in '09 with Yao, Battier, Artest, Scola, pre-injury Brooks, Lowry.
Ya and that's hard for me to believe. Harden seems to enjoy iso spam dribbling on one spot of the court for half a shot clock.
He seems to have enough effort to get us to the playoffs every year since 2012 -13 lol What is that 7 playoffs straight? All these people crying about Chris Paul a guy who didnt get out of the second round until he came to Hardens team. But Harden lacks the effort? Most of Hardens counterparts got their rings while being on super teams or you made it to the finals against a superteam that got seriously injured. Kawhi's case both. But somehow its his effort? Bad take. Anyone who knows basketball knows its a team sport and the Rockets just dont know how to build around Harden or they cant afford it one of those things is true. Thats our problem.
Harden has severe effort issues outside of iso face up dribbling exhibitions. Every other facet of the game he shows below average effort.
Hey I’m happy for him. I guess leadership only matters when you’re motivated to prove your ex team wrong.
Not sure how "CP3 got traded cause he played like crap" fits with what i was saying but ok lol, and i won't even argue that since i actually agree since i call like i see it.
