Are you sure the "other" moderates really want to be united? Obama was center left and they didn't much care for him....
I guess people will never realize that Republicans don't compromise. Being willing to talk and attempt to meet republicans halfway means nothing, the only way to get strike a "deal" is if you are willing to compromise 100%. Obama was moderate, they didn't care.
Moscow Mitch got nothing passed the last six years of Obama Presidency, since he did not want Obama to get credit. For the first two years of Trump’s Presidency, Moscow Mitch only got the top 1% tax break through. Even with a Republican House and President, that is all Mitch could manage. Moscow Mitch does not want to do anything. It is hard to see how that changes.

The latter of which he lost by 25 points in his lone attempt to do so.
