his team mates did miss shots, that wasn't a lie at all. Or they did stupid turnovers liker capela who thinks he is a point guard at times

They were +3 with Harden on the court............So with him off it......we sucked

 

Harden has an 45.1 usage rate with Westy off the court and scores 43.5 points per 36 minutes.

 

No it wasn’t. It helped save Tilman money. That was the goal of the trade and it succeeded.

Of course a W is better, but Rockets shouldn't be expected to sweep most WC opponents.

The problem is we've already LOST many against subpar competition thus far while not already being proven playoff performers.

Sub .500 teams in the west are all trap games. If you take them lightly, we're ****ed.

I think Westbrook needs to go back on resting 2nd games of b2b if they are going to force rest him at all.

At least get the concrete first win instead of playing the 2nd game with a tired squad that will end up like that OKC game.

Westbrook by himself clearly isn't good enough to carry this Rockets team to a win if even Harden is shooting poorly.

 

It looks like in the last few games, instead of being at the corner, PJ has been at the wing more. Sometimes doing high screens switching his man for Harden's. When Harden dishes out, PJ either gives it back or does a touch pass hockey assist attempt to the next corner guy B-Mac or House. Austin occasionally does this too if PJ is not there. In Dec BMAC was doing that instead of PJ. Capela is almost being saved possibly for a lob threat. The downside is that PJ isn't in his usual corner spot. His attempts are way down. If he does shoot on the wing; PJ has had misfires, maybe MDA can have him go back to the corner. He can snipe in the corner more if Russ is back. I think the Rockets are trying different things with different bodies to see what works when Harden first bring up the ball half court.

General comment on the defensive end, I think our guys were trying, the tick tack fouls got up real quick; the team got handcuffed. Harden himself racked up 3 fouls. Very one sided.

If there is one constructive criticism to give our guys is to take a temperature; on the offensive end, seems like Refs are calling more tightly on the offensive player forearm shoves when driving to the basket. If our guys do it, do it less frequent or not too obvious.

 

Of course Rockets fall right in line with the negativity of Houston sports and just f'n lose. Can't trust Harden to lead ****. I don't believe he cares about winning honestly. Stats guy that loses.

This is ridiculous. I thought the one main advantage of trading CP3 for Westbrook was that he was more durable? Instead he has to rest every back-to-back?

He's now missed 6 games, just under 20% of the season. Meanwhile. Chris Paul has played all 40 of OKC's games

I am confident, this is just a game in january...you dont give full effort on defense in january still 6 months to go to the finals... we ll put clamps on the teams in playoffs and they wont know what happened to them
