"Washed up" Chris Paul is the best clutch player in the NBA and will be in All-Star Game this year

They respect one another "that much" and their game..harden didn't have this level of respect for CP3's game like this hence Harden wasn't going off the chainz to this degree and we have 2 years of proof

yea he's almost at 40 this year while the officials are keeping him off the free throw line this year..he's more EFFICIENT with Russ....he's had numerous games with darn near shooting ZERO free throws as opposed to previous years in numerous games already we're only 1 month into it

Harden allows Russ to get away with **** he would not allow CP3 to get away with and Russ does the same thing for Harden. Hence we'll continue to see what we're seeing from Harden in his game and confidence in his side kick Russ that he didn't have with CP3. Believe what you want otherwise.

 

Westbrook gives Harden more rest because he actually tries to take over the game and allows to Harden to take possessions off sometimes. I really think the reason Harden was pissed off at CP3 is because CP3 was asking Harden to run around off the ball when CP3 was in the game even though Harden was averaging almost 40 points a game.

Harden is far more efficient with Russ than he ever was with CP3.

He's shooting 47% from the field & 38 from 3 this season when Westbrook plays & those numbers only keep trending upwards. It drops to 41 FG% and 37 3PT% when Russ is out.

That's despite the horrendous start to the season he had & without the gravity of EG.

Having someone that can be the number 1 scoring option and lessen his load on offense is HUGE.

Another thing is he's absolutely torching elite defenses like we've never seen before.

34 PPG on 48/47 against Top 10 defenses & he's only taking 18 FGA in those games because he can be selective with shots unlike previous years.

Russ, the least efficiency volume shooter in the league, is giving Harden MORE space? He is THE reason teams are sending these double teams.

If we are living in reality.... OKC has still clearly come out on top. What Chris Paul is doing this season has overall been better than Westbrook. Westbrook’s peak performances are better than Paul’s. Westbrook has to become much, much, much more reliable with his peak games AND he has to get and remain fully healthy for this trade to tip in Houston’s favor. These last few weeks Westbrook has shown some damn good promise, but again the reality is that Chris Paul has been really freaking good this entire year.

 

But Harden Trusts Russ that's why CP3 not here. Harden much happier now

 

The real insanity is that Harden is clearly happy with Russ and glad CP3 and his washed up injury prone " therefore I gotta play 40 minutes a game for the past 2 seasons because of CP3" clutch 17 points are gone

 

I think CP3 unlocked Harden. I mean Harden went crazy cuz CP3, Gordon, and Capela were all injured last year. That is when he became unlocked.
