He’s too tall for this roster. Not your traditional small ball forward. He doesn’t stand a chance... smh
he looks to be a better shooter from the videos I've watched so why not give him a chance. he looks more like a stretch five in this system but when we go small he may be better than clark….at least on offense. we can also try playing him along side capela against big front lines. against a team where their bigs can't shoot the three well and we need rebounding and length.
I agree. Unless he’s moved, he still lives in my neighborhood. It would be a long commute indeed for Daryl to travel from southwest Austin to his office in Houston. Perhaps he uses a helicopter? DD
This. The front office always does this, they get some no name that none of us have ever heard of and praise how they will fill a need only to play said player 10 minutes over the span of 15 games and then cut them after having them parked on the bench. I expect them to sign a guy named Jack Wilson from Australia who is a 6'1 PG next week. Why won't we go after young, LONG, ATHLETIC players who are actually good and have super high potential/proven ability?
Do you know why he didn't make the French team for FIBA World Cup this summer? I can't find any mention of France even considering him for the team.
@Nook and @DaDakota had heard of him. Like signing Gerald Green off his couch? Or House, after everyone gave up on him? Hopefully you've heard of all these players: Last year, we got 1st rounders Marquese Chriss and Bruno Caboclo. Turns out, House and Clark were better. This year, Anthony Bennett...turns out, he was hiding a knee injury. Hell, over time, Morey actually signed every player of the entire 2009 draft, who didn't get a long-term contract. Turns out, they all sucked.
Shhhhhh, all you should really care about is we got a decent 3pt shooter who is over 6’4”. And that clearly Morey knows who here has a deeper grasp of the game and talent. DD
Who was the euro 3pt specialist Rox signed last year that couldn't hit the side of a barn? I hope this is not a repeat.
Would rather see a signing like this then some washed up veteran. However knowing MDA, this guy probably won’t ever see the court
