Yes, our best offensive player is best served standing near half court for entire offensive possessions to maybe protect fast breaks.

Lol. You went and did your search & came back with nothing. You couldn't even SEE Harden he was so far back towards halfcourt. The video you posted had KD standing by the 3pt line for about 5 seconds into the play. That's all you could find?

He can't. Not even Michael Jordan got doubled teamed as much as Harden does.... and never from the half court.

Give Harden the support Curry has had and he would have had 5 rings by now.

This is another reason why the rockets won’t win it all outside an occasional spot up harden needs the ball

Jordan got not much double team because it did not work for him.

If Jordan just stand there like stone after double teaming, every team would do that and there would be no legend Jordan either.

Well, Jordan also played in one of the best teams of all time. It also helps. Harden has never played in anywhere close to the support Jordan or Kobe has.

You can expect more teams will double team James Harden. It’s ****ing good way to limit Harden and Rockets.

Yeah he was the only guy hitting the 3 decently except Harden who Kerr wisely started double teaming to slow him down in the 3rd. Russ, Bmac, RIvers and PJ were ****ing putrid from 3 can't win many games with the rest of the crew going 5/29 from 3 that's not too far away from going 0/27, why does it alwayshave to be against the god damn Warriors we look so stupid shooting the 3

This Rockets team, with these players, can not win a Championship. If playoffs started now, Rockets would choke. All Tilman will do is make Morey get under the Lux. tax line. How in Hell can the Rockets beat the Clippers on the road, then play like sh#t against a 7 win team. The Rockets are the Warriors b****.

Along side with KD and Russ in OKC?

Unfortunately Harden was playing awful in finals.

This roster needs help. A F/PF that can create his own shot and make good decisions with the ball and finish well on the paint. Double Harden and make the others get buckets and make plays and we struggle mightily.

I see others talking about Harden playing off the ball more and running around through screens, but he can still be double teamed once he gets it. I watch the other contenders and they have multiple guys that can do something with the ball if they get it. Capela, PJ, House all struggle to make plays out there. We just need that one guy that can get those easy baskets when they double James high and we have 4 on 3.

I hate it when people bring up that OKC team. They were a very young team. If all 3 stayed together for another 2 or 3 years, they were winning a championship. It's straight facts. Also, that was a totally different Harden back then. He's grown into a much better player since leaving OKC. So yeah, it's not the same thing at all.

One of the most embarrassing losses in Rocket's history. They essentially lost to a to G League team.

Yes, that is a good observation, one that I have wondered about too...why does MDA have Harden guarding the back court when we play the Warriors? Harden was back there during the playoffs with the Warriors too. And that time he was deferring to CP3. Harden will do whatever is requested of him, so why does MDA have him defending the back court over shot making? That's my question.
