Just noticed that you're asking 2 different questions. If you want to know the defining moment in Eddie's career, and not his best film, that answer would be Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood. Or Buckwheat Sings.
Trading Places...and it isn't close as far as I'm concerned. Raw and Delirious will ALWAYS stand tall in their genre.
Metro That stuff at the amusement park was the bomb. Was that a Centurion from Battlestar Galactica? What a hoot!
my family migrated to the states because of coming to america. so i go with that. that movie also kicked started screaming l jackon's career.
I love both Trading Places and Delirious. Tried to watch Dolemite yesterday, but ended up cutting it off about 1/3 of the way through. I really wanted to like but it just wasn’t working.
That's understandable. It is a netflix film, it's watchable for the most part. It made me want to watch the original Rudy Ray Moore films more.
Damn his SNL work might be his best. This article by the way made me love Beverly Hills Cop even more. https://birthmoviesdeath.com/2015/05/09/axel-foley-is-box-office-gold
