That doesn’t seem to matter to some people. Russ wasn’t good last night but he sure wasn’t alone. He will have a good night soon and there will be crickets.
Man, they have the second highest Net Rating in the league, how can you tell me they arent good. Whoops...oh you meant transition offense(or defense idk). ignore my post.
Hard to argue this, he brings other skills to the table but the main issue is w/o other skilled shooters on this team good teams are going to take their chances and make Russ beat them with his jumpers and he really isn’t a very good/reliable shooter, history shows that. Good teams are going to do what Denver did last night and force the ball out of Harden’s hands, next 3/4 games could be brutal.
Funny how people feel like just because we lost one game people are freaking out. He hasn't been shooting very well the entire stretch of that win streak. James Harden just went mad! The man is an Offensive God! In the West A single game could could also be the difference between being a second seed or the 4th seed these days. He either figures out how to shoot or we just need to trade him before the deadline because in our offence if he can't shoot, he is useless.
If you wanna know how ClutchFans REALLY feels about Westbrick... the truth is in this thread. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/wc-first-round-3-portland-vs-6-oklahoma-city.297706/
The guy is shooting the lowest fg percentage of his career barring his rookie season and shooting his second lowest 3 point percentage of his career. 41.8% and 22.7%. Yet we still have blind homers that seem to think Westbrook is still a top 15 player.
Say what you want I’m just glad we have him and not old man CP3. RW could be a valuable trade asset going forward if it doesn’t work out. For now let’s enjoy our great team.
I don't mind when Russ bricks or even airballs a three but these damn pull up mid range jumpers never go in. I do not get why he keeps shooting those. I still take him over CP3 11 out of 10 times.
He stood 30 feet from the basket and allowed the Warriors help defenders to stifle any action CP3 tried to initiate. Draymond and Iggy had a field day defensively because Harden wanted to prove a point and let his team play 4 on 5 offensively. CP3's issue with Harden was his refusal to play with any pace and the offensive stagnation that comes with an iso heavy offense. All Harden had to do was push the ball occasionally to get some easy buckets. That series was an indictment on Harden-- if he wouldn't have been so set in his way the Rockets win.
I wish all the Westbrook haters would just go bandwagon on another team. If you can't support our players get lost.
