People haven't been real big on primary sources for a while now. Barely have time to read a handful of tweets. I believe "the truth" operates a whole lot like social media these days. There are "news influencers" - talking heads who mediate the truth for everyone else and who get paid to talk by what used to be known as news organizations. You just need to target the "influencers" and they will tell their followers what to believe, just like Kylie Jenner does, and their followers will not question what their favorite influencers tell them, even though they probably should.
