"We must make our choice. We may have democracy, or we may have wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both."
Human Trafficking is a major concern. The amount happening in the halls of money, power and influence is concerning. If Jeff spill 100% of the beans . .. I cannot help but think SIGNIFICANT amount of rich and super rich folx would be in major trouble Rocket River not that they would have gone to jail or anything. . . .
Everyone talks about drugs as the common vice that people cannot seem to avoid. The real answer is sex........ a lot of people cannot turn down sex, especially with younger women and with the promise of no consequence or accountability. The reality is that a lot of men would have sex with a 16-17 year old girl that acts either submissive or eager and is attractive..... especially men that are older. It cuts across political lines, socio economic lines, religious lines and cultural lines..... You tell a man there is no consequence and that there should be no shame (i.e she is a prostitute or wants it) and men will often rationalize everything for that which they covet. We can (and should) makes laws to protect young women and older children.......... but good luck keeping it from always being an issue.
I figure if you went in to the deep rabbit holes of the bedrooms of consenting adults. . . .. you would be amazed Then you move into those spaces where consent is purchasable, Coerced or not relevent .. .those are the real horror stories. left unchecked. . . you can only imagine the unimaginable going on Rocket River
Criminal charges expected this week against Epstein guards https://nypost.com/2019/11/18/criminal-charges-expected-this-week-against-epstein-guards/amp/
Whether they were bribed or just derelict, they needed to be charged regardless. If there were bribes or coercion of the guards involved, charges could empower (honest) investigators to do the searches needed to find such evidence.
I'm not against charging them. That would be SOP to roll up the money chain in a normal case. But given the apparent cover-up from very high places, I assume the end point will be "they were derelict, he killed himself", which does not explain the camera failures or the whereabouts of Ghislane Maxwell. Or, who told Acosta to let up on sentencing Epstein because he was connected to the government.
