Hey, it's good to have you back! (MANCRUSH, squuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal!) Maybe if we traded Capela and detritus for Ariza and Bagley (trying to match the money), but I don't think Capela is going anywhere now that he woke up.
He loves Sac, but they're going to Implode. James and PJ are his brothers. It's not imminent by any means, but it's out there for a buy out. Also, we still have an erection for Dougie Buckets, but that would take some creativity. The real wing we lost out on is J.Green of LAC. Chicago is talking early too.... Indiana/Sac/Wash (CJ esp)/ is the early talks
With injuries to Capela, House and now PJ, Rockets need to bring in a 4/5, as in yesterday. Missing Faried.
WooHoo. Cod season has begun with names! CJ is at 8.7M. That's a lot of salary to match and stay under the LT Buckets is at 7.3M with another yr on the deal. I am sure the Bulls would want to dump Valentine but not sure he helps the Rockets.
I don't understand how Lance Stephenson is 29 years old and in China. This should be an end of bench guy for a contender.
Too bad our penny pincher owner won't open the purse so that Morey can work his magic. Gawd, hopefully somebody with real deep pockets buy this team.
He had 3 games in a row of 20 boards and 16 rebounds a game before the streak started. He was plenty woke
I don't understand the Capela hate. He is 3rd in the league in FG%, 6th in the league in rebounds, 4th in blocked shots, 3rd in total slam dunks. And the main criticism I see is that he's soft but 3rd in dunks behind only Giannis and Anthony Davis, 4th in blocked shots, 6th in rebounds; how in the hell is that soft? I just don't understand what you guys are expecting. Are you expecting Hakeem? All of that said, of course he should be backing up Hartenstein.
The Rockets have been in talks with Sacramento for the last six months with the possibility of trading Clint Capela for whom ever hopefully my cousin Justin James will be part of the deal I know for a fact that Darrell Murray has shown interest in JJ
I really think a lot of people got way to excited about Clint after he raised his production for two/three consecutive years, if you remember there were people talking about him as an all star in the making etc...but that was a bit too premature and unrealistic imo, Clint never had that kind of potential, although i guess you never know how much a player can really develop, but yeah...
Totally agree with your love for Clint. OK, so he’s out. Last night, Hart got his feet wet. So is he going to show up tonight and really impact the game? We need him to. This ain’t the D-League. He was outplayed by a 50 year old Tyson Chandler! We can’t expect Tyson to play that well in a back to back, although he just might. What we need is for Hartensteiner to come alive. Show some hart!
Clint's ceiling is still All Star IMO. He would already be an all star in East with his production last 2 seasons. His 3 game streak of 20 rebounds is historic.
I think i can agree if by All Star we mean literally making the All Star, but i wouldn't consider him an All Star caliber player, that's what i'm saying, just like i never considered DeAndre or Tyson in his prime. For me these are more elite role players, i just have a difficult time giving the All Star label to players who can't create, shoot, pass...if that makes sense.
