That goes both ways. Maybe you should stop criticizing him at every chance? And, by the way you still haven't stated who this 'dream coach' that's going to take us to the promised land. We're waiting. . .. . All we hear in the meantime is just constant whining. But your screen name IS appropriate
I mean, you’re right, but let’s not pretend we won because Dan Toni outcoached the other guy. In fact, it’s hard to find a game he’s outcoached anyone.
Most of those being called out are also commenting positives too, I mean it's a game thread to discuss the game good and bad. Very simpletons way to look at things ignoring the bad.
Honestly Harden still dosent look anywhere near his best and can still have games that 99%players in the league can only dream of having in their peak. Its scary to think how good he will be by mid to late January. Clint starting to round into shape. Russ started to atttack the bucket with more authority in the 3rd quarter and looked amazing. That’s the key with him. Force and speed. Once he slows down to make decisions he struggles. He is a rapid reactive player. House continues to impress. Gordon. Really concerning is how bad. He looks attacking basket now as well. He just looks terrible.
well there is a contingent here who do nothing but cry and b*tch...they’re not real active tonight because the Rockets won in blowout fashion...there are those who are not interested in discussing the good, and they are the real simpletons...it’s quite easy to b*tch every game while not even being capable of providing any solutions
He looked fine to me. 42/10/9 Go back and read the thread 80% of the comments were negative in a game where the Rockets won by nearly 25.
We have slowed down the pace, which I think is a good change. Like it or not, iso Harden offense, is the best offense.
Not saying he doesn't have his flaws. MANY coaches do. But, it's hard to find a game he's outcoached ANYONE?! Think about your statement. The man has the 2nd best record in the NBA over the past 3 seasons since he's been here. ONLY Steve Kerr and the stacked Warriors team (Curry, Durant, Thompson, Green) had a better record. He's second ONLY to THEM. A .700 winning percentage I'd have to say that's pretty much outcoaching EVERYONE else. You can't argue that his system hasn't elevated and revolutionized our team over the past 3 seasons, set NBA records, has made Harden into an NBA SUPERSTAR MVP, has gotten us to WC Finals and our biggest obstacle was the 'greatest team ever assembled'. There is no shame in going to toe to toe with a team with 3 All Stars and another bandwagon All Star MVP. (HINT: they outdid 28 other teams too as I recall) We were a CP hammy from taking that series and likely the ring, but MDA didn't pull CP's hamstring. Age did that. But, YOU (and many others) blame it on the coach And, here's one for you. What has Popovich won since Duncan retired? Should HE be run out of SA? Washed up, right? Can't win a ring anymore. Yes, based on the success we've had with D'Antoni, I think he's getting a bad rap from the likes of people like YOU. Looks like his contract was not extended so you will likely get your wish. I hear NOTHING but negative about our coach from you and others, but here's a question that I yet to hear answered by you constant naysayers: "WHO IS THIS (available) DREAM COACH THAT IS GOING TO DO BETTER THAN A .700 WINNING PERCENTAGE AND TAKE US TO THE PROMISED LAND??" I'll get the popcorn and await your nomination(s)
Yes but, many of them are chronic naysayers and it gets old. ALL they do is whine, complain, whine, complain. EVEN in victory. So, yes YOU @BasketMAD we're still waiting to hear.. . "WHO IS THIS DREAM COACH THAT CAN DO BETTER THAN A .700 WINNING PERCENTAGE AND TAKE US TO THE PROMISED LAND??" You spew your negativity with NO solutions. We're waiting
Joerger? (are you asking me or telling me? LOL. Seems a bit uncertain) HEY! At least we have a name. So Dave Jeorger is going to take us ALL THE WAY!!! SWEET! There you have it ladies and gentlemen. Our championship Rockets coach, Dave Joerger according to BasketMAD So, what has he accomplished so far? Let's take a look (from Wikipedia) With five minor league championships under his belt, the National Basketball Association finally took notice and Joerger was hired by the Memphis Grizzlies as an assistant coach (Gotta give him props. 5 G-League Championships. That's something) On May 28, 2014, it was announced that Joerger was signed to a 3-year contract extension with the Memphis Grizzlies.[19] On May 7, 2016, Joerger was fired by the Grizzlies after three seasons as the team's head coach.[20] FIRED before his contract was even up. SOUNDS LIKE SUCCESS! (Had Conley and Gasol, not a garbage team) They must have loved him in Memphis. On May 9, 2016, just two days after being fired by the Grizzlies, Joerger signed with the Sacramento Kings to become their head coach.[21] On April 11, 2019, the Kings fired Joerger after the team failed to reach the playoffs in three seasons under Joerger; in his last season as coach, the Kings had their best record since they last reached the playoffs in the 2005-2006 season. In his defense, it IS the Kings. A disaster of an organization, and he DID improve their record. However, if he is such and asset and future HoF'er, why did the Grizz cut him loose? Or even the Kings? I like the guy. But, THIS is the guy that is like better than Pop and better than Kerr and the cream of the crop?? THAT's your choice, huh? Okay. At least you threw out a name. And it sounds like he IS unemployed waiting for the phone to ring (and why isn't it ringing? There are 29 other teams out there)
And the beginning of the end is here: an 8 man rotation with zero bigs. Might as well just have all wings on the roster.
The Same coach that will take the Texans to the promise land. This mythical being makes no mistakes, every play he designs is perfect, is a master of time and challenges, and beats the above.500 teams every time he plays them.
This is why u can’t take these crybaby posters seriously. Joerger has his own set of flaws that they’d be b*tching about if he was here. He’s the coach that would push us to a title? Lol. In Memphis, he didn’t even do better than Lionel Hollins, and in Sacramento, everybody hated him. He surprised by having that Kings squad be competitive instead of trash, but that’s the best thing he has on his resume.
