Do you think it basically worked out - even money for him in the end? That guy is so awesome, I really hope it didn't sting too much...
Yep, we’ll said, not all on Hinch, just couldn’t string a couple big hits together with men on base, they did.
Home of World Series Champions... Maybe it will light a fire under the Astros next year to not let it slip away.
Not even close to a decent management job by AJ tonight. Pulled Greinke too early and we never put pressure by trying to steal bases with all the traffic we had early.
Great season, but the Rays screwed with our minds and we never got our true mojo back in the play-offs. Nats were the better team this series. On to the Texans and Rockets!
Astros could be back here next year but they have to keep Cole or reasonably replace him...good luck with that. This was the year.
people expected grienke to pitch a complete game and hold them to only 1? Not realistic. Bats absolutely had to show up tonight and they didnt. They had Scherzer dead to rights MULTIPLE times and didn't take advantage. And when the Astros pitchers made a mistake, the nats made them pay.
And Nationals....wont be anywhere close. Didnt even lose to a legitimate champion,.....Id rather lose to the Warriors then these guys haha.
went on reddit; first mistake. Can't believe how many fanbases hate us lol. Rangers, Yankees, Nationals, Dodgers lol
Tip your cap to the Nats, they just got hits when they needed them, and Astros could never KO them when they put pressure on. Hinch decision was bad, everybody knew it, and I do think it cost us G7 but it didn’t cost us series. Damn offense or lack thereof for 4 of 7 cost us the series.
He didn’t have to give away all the furniture because the Astros lost. The bet was a hedge in case the Astros actually won.
Kudos to the Nats, they played really well in the four games at Minute Maid Park. The Astros offense has nobody to blame but itself. They scored 11 runs in four home games. The only difference between this series and the ALCS is the pitching wasn’t otherworldly to cover for their struggles.
