Yeah , they cant take on much salary without sending a rotation piece out …. They do have two TPE's valued at about $3.2 and $3.6m. Might be best to try and use those now so they can aggregate the salaries at the deadline and that still doesn't allow for a whole hell of a lot of incoming salary by NBA standards. Who can you get at $3.2 and $3.6 that wouldn't be hard to flip later ? It takes $5.761m in outgoing salary to take back Crowders $7.815m. Seems doable for the Rockets.
Going over the tax has nothing to do with us not being able to match salaries in trade. Sorry when I said dumping someone useful I meant including him in a trade (e.g. including PJ to match Crowder’s contract.). Otherwise we can’t get him
lmao I love how you guys totally forgot about Bruno being on the Rockets last year, and then they let him go. Yet again, another player prospering in another system. You guys truly overrate the impact of this system on players. Decent shooters become average at best shooters on the Rockets.
Lol I didn’t forget. He looked great in preseason and we kept Chriss over him for luxury tax reasons and MCW who also did well in Orlando. Why respond like such a jerk?
Sorry about coming off like a jerk, but I'm just annoyed that Rockets fans aren't holding Morey accountable for his many terrible moves, especially last year.
Morey is great but he’s far from perfect. He’s never been great at signing guys with length. I’m kind of giving him a pass for now considering he’s spent most of October hiding from death threats. I think we’ll get some length soon but remember he’s on a budget here. It’s why Bruno was waived
