I just got an email from the Rays. I was selected to buy tickets for Game 3. I get a special offer code tomorrow morning. I’ll probably buy tickets to cheer on the Astros in that crappy stadium.
Seeing as they cant ever fill that stadium even with a good team, are they upping their prices dramatically for playoffs?
Well. Now is the time to finally beat them in a series considering we have lost every season series with tampon since we moved to the AL
I hate the Rays. We always seem to lose to them, and really don't think they are better. Anyway, time to turn the tables.
This is a very good point that probably overrides all my other considerations about who I'd want to play.
we lost 4 out of 7 to the rays this year. 3 of the losses came during the first series when the Astros started out horribly. The pitchers largely responsible for the loses (McHugh ( as a starter), devo, Miley) will not pitch against the rays. To top that off, we did not have Alvarez or Correa played in the first series and we had the likes of Tony Kemp, Tyler White and Jake Marisnick as regular starters. All these factors lead me to believe that Astros will be just fine.
LETS GO. Rays are good but I'll go with our guys against anyone. Glasnow and Snell will start but they are both limited pitch count wise. Both can also struggle at times with control.
I was not so lucky. Going to be hard for me to go down there this time if year, but figure I'd try just in case. Maybe if the flights aren't too bad so I don't have to drive 5 hours to get there. But yes, that park sucks balls. Lots of nicer minor league parks. Hell the one by me is over 100 years old and is better.
Can anyone explain his first tweet to me? Like I have no frame of reference, like I'm a child who just wandered into the middle of a movie and wants to know....
