This was false and retracted. He wasn't an advisor. It was corrected by ABC and axios. More bad reporting. And you suggesting there is promise is also wrong. Your 'implied' promise lacks any evidence.
Yes, he was an adviser to the current president, you are wrong, the correction was only that he isn't a current adviser. Why don't you reply to @fchowd0311 post then?
Funny how many excuses the Trump fans make, without any thought of America first. Why not actually PUT AMERICA FIRST - and not your fandom of Trump? If he broke the law and asked for help from a foreign power - and he admitted he did, that is against the law and is an impeachable offense. So sorry you don't like it....but you were in favor of a blow job by an intern - and lying about it being impeachable......try to stay consistent...for once... DD
OK, you are right. Barr might not be the best choice. How about DJTJ? Trump's son is also likely to pardon his sorry ass. Or maybe Ivanka? This might not be the first woman President that we want, but the one we need.
He was an advisor for the transition team... and was released in April. Huffington post thinks its a significant blunder Because he wrote more text then I am willing to read of his. Summarize. why dont you keep telling me about Trump's promises that dont exist.
The whistle blower complaint is definitely bad. After the transcript, I figured maybe he gets through this like other controversies and excuses would be made and he'd survive, but now I see it as an almost lock that the House impeaches, and depending on how much of the complaint can be proved, I think the Republicans may finally turn their back on him and convict.
And why is it a significant blunder and how does it invalidate the fact that Trump solicited Ukraine? Alright, I'll tell you... The whistleblower is almost irellevant at this point as Trump the idiot has admitted to the two pieces of information that make this clear extortion and election interference. He admitted that he froze military aid to Ukraine however he gave 3 seperate contradictory reasons why he did it which is hilarious in itself and clear indication that he is backtracking and trying to find a legal reason that doesn't look like blatant extortion. And then he admits that he did ask the Ukrainian president to investigate his political opponent and invoked the attorney general and Trump's personal lawyer, Gulliani to help with the request for investigation. These are things readily admitted by Trump and the administation when they released their version of the "transcript" which was essentially a memo. The GOP thinks you're stupid. I just heard a Texas GOP congressman John Ratcliffe make a cockamamie argument that since the whistleblower's accounts were second hand, this complaint isn't valid and that Trump spoke to a foreign leader and that's his business therefore zero context need be applied. GOP voters, he thinks you are stupid. The promise that is implied if you aren't a naive child or a partisan hack is the threat of freezing military aid that was already promised. It's extortion. You don't freeze military aid to a country without consulting your staff and other world leaders who have a vested interest and then a couple of days later call the president of that country you froze already promised military aid to and ask for a favor to investigate a political opponent w stating how much the US helped said country which obviously implies the dangling of military aid. Don't play stupid. This is obvious extortion. Anyone who watches a god damn mafia genre movie can understand this.
So The Federalist (nay, The Trumpist) has unique access to the full unedited version of the call transcripts? How on earth did they obtain such access? This is amazing, and they should share those so we can all judge for ourselves.
it doesn't invalidate soliciting Ukraine. In fact Trump solicited Ukraine on lots of investigations. its not a crime. Its significant because hes not a meaningful source.
Ari's convenient / baseless assertion is as absurd as Trump's claim that the whistle blower is a political hack and unpatriotic
Old Trump has a habit of asking foreign governments for help against political rivals. The Mueller Report showed the same damn behavior. Just imagine if this was Clinton.... then you can understand.
Actually the funny part of this partisan cartoon is trump eating dinner with flotus... and that she would care what he ate...
