Overpriced. but calling it mediocre is a stretch. I've been there once.. got the Australian Wagyu ($60 per 3oz) and it was great.
I've been to Morton's a few times. I went for anniversary and I must say the service was excellent. The steaks I have tried are on par with other steak houses quality and price. It's not my first choice for a high-end steak but the overall menu and service is worth the tab. Get the Shrimp Diablo, BOOM! In the 80's Del Frisco's was awesome.
I prefer Perry’s. It’s a meh steak. Its 20 dollar steak... not 50 plus 20 for a side. Now that Tillman bought it I’m sure freezing the meat for 5 years and overly salting everything will really bring the quality out though.
Again more over priced average quality food chain. If he bought peter luger I might be impressed. Kind of reflects what he is doing with our roster.
Their Filet is my favorite steak out there. NY Strip being a close second. I think their pork chops are good but they are a bit overrated imo.
Well, that explains that.... Del Frisco sells Sullivan's Steakhouse chain at the end of 2018. Post Oak Motors cars show up outside Del Frisco on Hughes Landing in The Woodlands...Post Oak is Tillman's RR and Bugatti dealership. Explains why deals for the Bugatti and Rolls on displayed are sold over drinks or dinner at the Del Frisco's in The Woodlands. Food at The Woodland's Del Frisco is great...love the Prime Rib on weekends, Short Rib Stroganoff, Fish & Chips, Artichoke Beignets, Peanut Butter Pie and other desserts, and since we turned 60, Thanksgiving dinner is great there too. And for their Brunch on the weekends, best chicken and waffles in Houston. Perry's is good too...their Prime Bison is wonderful too. Hey Tillman, can I switch my Del Frisco points to my SLC? One less card to carry.
One of my favorite moments. The ride to being a contender was fun the last 7 years. 8 seed to WCF, to failed teams, to retooling. Just want that chip to top off the last 7-8 year run
That's just like, you're opinion man...and that is just like, my opinion....haha. But seriously, if I had to go to a tilman owned restaurant for steak I'd do Pappas steakhouse, but if money was no object, I'd prefer to Pappas any of B&B Butchers, Georgia James, Eddie Vs, cafe rabelais, BCN, and killens...if money was a factor and I wanted something affordable, I'd just sous vide a steak at home.
Pappas Bros and Vic and Anthonys have some of the best steaks I have ever eaten, and the lobster mac n cheese is amazing. How many steakhouses does he need?
CP3 was jettisoned by TF clearly because it wasn't a good look to have Beyond Meat's ambassador on the Landry's roster
