You guys are generally rockers.... The Hendrix Experience is back in town October 20th. I saw one a few years ago at Arena and it was one of the best concerts I'd ever been to. I don't know how they can afford to have so many guitar gods show up on one stage. http://www.experiencehendrixtour.com/dates.php
it only took me 25+ years but I finally got to see Candlebox this past weekend at HoB and the show was way better than expected.
This is going to be a really niche album and most of you will have no interest in early 1960's country music, but I started listening to it this weekend and Im obsessed. They really knew how to turn that reverb up back in the day, and dude could really belt it out. Ray Price - Night Life Now I'm craving an ice cold beer, a couple of slices of white bread, and a giant mountain of brisket.
This takes me back to when I was very young my parents would take me and my sister to the dance halls with them. After I would get in trouble for running and sliding across the dance floor . They would put a blanket under that table and I would fall to sleep listening to this great music. I'm pretty sure my mother has this on vinyl but with a different cover. Pride song #7 from this album is one of my favorite from this era of music. here is another of my Ray Price favorites and another song I grew to love are the dance halls
Tee Grizzley pouring out his emotions on this one They say they love us, but that love might be hate I can't really tell the difference, salt and sugar look the same (It's tricky) Look how they did Dex, look how they did Blake (Damn) Look how they tried to do me, but got JB Man, that jealousy so real, man, that hate so deep Man, that envy **** so real, you make it out these streets You saw it wasn't me and still shot, what she do to you? (What she do to you?) We was just winnin', now I'm cryin' at your funeral But every tear I shed another thousand on your head, ***** (That's on my ****in' momma) Now show your face and think I'm playin', ***** Every tear I shed another thousand on your head, boy (On my daddy grave) Now show your face and think I'm playin'
