What is even funnier is Seattle gave up... 1.) A player that was close to getting cut. 2.) A 6th round maybe prospect 3.) A 3rd round pick that they get back if they lose Clowney. So really they gave up a 6th round LB for Clowney. Easily the worst move this franchise has made.
I’m not a diehard fan of the Texans. Never have been. Just root for them because they are a Houston team. At this point I really don’t care about them. They’r just a funny joke as far as I’m concerned.
I would actually not hate O’Brien if he did steal Tunsil or Williams away. I know the Dolphins like McKinney.
The ONLY way this is remedied is if we end up with one of them WITHOUT giving up a first round pick. But let’s not hold our breath
"Texans are not trading Clowney unless it's for a LT." "Texans have a deal lined up for a LT." Go eat another newspaper John.
Well, that was my initial thought John McClain as well, buts it's not like you received flippable assets in the trade, which "might" have made sense if this was the actual strategy. Might still happen at expense of high draft picks, but I refer you to my last post in this thread in regards to what I believe motivated this trade
