Bump if he falls out in okc, or can't handle being the # 1 option, do you trade Eric Gordon to okc with another pick?
Wait. Are you asking us to bump this if he falls out in okc or should you have put a period behind the word bump? Because I have no problem bumping this if he falls out in OKC. Also, I doubt he'll be the #1 option. I expect it'll be CP3's team unless he's traded. And finally, I wouldn't trade Gordon for Gallinari. A healthy Gallinari would be fun in our system but Gallinari never has a fully healthy season. Some of y'all really under rate Gordon and his importance to this team. To me, if they want to unload Gallinari's salary we send them some second rounders and expiring/non-guaranteed contracts if possible.
Would trade Gordon and a 2nd for him. Would he nice to have someone 6'10 able to create their own shot. Could fill Gordon's role nicely but I'd be worried about our perimeter defense.
Me too, but then I remembered that if we really wanted Gallo from a salary perspective it would have made a lot more sense to include him in the Westbrook deal for salary matching so if it didn't get done then it's not going to happen.
Gallinari cannot create his one shot consistently and is always injured. He would not fit Gordon's role at all. He is not a guy who creates his own shot or defend anywhere near the level of Gordon.
Bumps are annoying and this ridiculous, if this guy had really been the guy then they might have ousted the Warriors. He is weak. Trading Gordon?! I wouldn’t take Gallo if they attached Schroder and a pick for Gordon
if he was coming it would have been in an OKC deal. I agree that we shouldn't ship out Gordon for Gallo. If we deal Gordon is has to be for a Wing that can play Defense.
dont think we can match his salary with second rounders and non-guaranteed contracts. Maybe if it would have been aggregated to the CP trade.
smh...had me thinking there might be some actual link between Gallo and Houston, but nah, it was just a bump done for useless reasons... EG for Gallo? No. He would be a nice add offensively when he’s actually healthy and on the court, but I would prefer a 2-way wing.
Gordon is a 2-way wing, he’s a solid defender and doesn’t do much on offense that Gordon cannot do except shoot over taller guys.
