Yea I am curious on James and Peacock as well. James has fallen off the planet. Hear nothing about him. Of course when McHugh had a dead arm he lost half a season.
Why does it seem that our pitching is contagious? When it's bad, everyone on the team is bad. When it's good, our worst pitcher throws a combined no-hitter.
Peacock is in AAA. I suspect he'll come up Sunday if no setbacks after Saturday starter is sent back down or be miraculously healed on September 1st. James threw 20 pitches off a mound earlier this week. Mid-September at earliest as he likely needs time to get back in the groove.
Excellent Question. I think it has to do with Home/Road as well.. Our team is a completely different team at home this year.
Is there a place where you can actually put money on that Verlander line? I don't see him giving up three homers.
I am not sure what betting the under means in this situation..... in either case, I will bet for whatever means that they will win today
Time to bring up Tucker to replace Reddick in the lineup. 32 HRs, 93 RBIs. His average is down because of the bad start and I think the Astros asked him to change a few things. Give me that power and run producer over Reddick any day. Put Tucker in the 8 or 9 hole.
Until the first time he doesn't run out a grounder to the left side or casually throws the ball back into the infield with runners moving.
Something tells me they won’t do it regardless - I think Hinch will point to Reddick’s defense and other ways he impacts the game than his bat. I hope I’m wrong though and would love to see Tucker get a chance this year.
Just ****ing win the game, Astros. I don't give a **** how you do it. Just ****ing do it. You can't afford to let the Yankees pull away from you in the AL race. So don't let it happen. You're too ****ing good to let this **** escalate any further than it has. WIN.
