What about the ring he won with San Antonio? Tony Parker made the All-Star team that year, Tim Duncan made the All-Star team the year prior and the year after 2013-2014.
he also beat a Durant-less (for entire series not a game and a half) and klay-less team. probably would have lost if klay played
if ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry xmas i'd argue it would be easier to play a durantless warriors team on short notice at home like we did than have them have all the time in the world to prepare for a whole series without him
my point is that Harden has never had the support system of multiple all stars which was in response to your statement of so should we forget about Kawhi's championship with the Spurs or are we counting the Toronto ring more than once under the "multiple rings" criteria?
More than deserved. Still think it's crazy Harden didn't win MVP. I'd argue that Blake and Melo definitely do not deserve to be on that second team and maybe not even the third team. I'll take Duncan and Dirk, crazy how they are not on the 2nd or 3rd team.
Sorry but I can't do Kawhi on the all decade team. He doesn't have a decade's worth of dominance to be on this list. Kawhi has only been a dominant player for like 3 seasons now -- one of which he spent injured on the bench trashing his team from the sidelines and weaseling his way to a trade. There is just not enough there to be considered on this list given the body of work LeBron, Durant, Harden, and Curry have put in over this past decade.
