Bandwagoners requirement is great music or scenery?

Pffft,,,,A lot of comedies have beautiful scenery. The mud wrestling scene in Old School comes to mind. In fact, that was rewatched some much, the DVD I rented wouldn't play it, due to over pausing on the action scene, I suppose. True story. DVD was damaged

It doesn't matter how many times I see the scene in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels where Steve Martin has to pretend his legs are numb, and Michael Caine starts beating his legs harder and harder with a switch, all while Martin absolutely CANNOT let it show that it is agonizing. That entire scene is so genius, you could watch it a hundred times and still never fully appreciate Steve Martin's abilities.

It totally depends on the comedy. Most times seeing a really funny joke is funny, but the second time around, it's much less funny. Maybe years later, it's funny again, and often that is partially because it just reminds folks of how much they loved it the first time.

But sometimes the comedy comes so quickly and is layered, that much of it is missed the first time around.

Then sometimes there are jokes that are more hidden that only come after noticing different things, and rematching it.

Again some of the things that are funny aren't the lines of dialogue that people will often focus on the first watch through, but people's reactions in the background and catching those kinds of things will be funny on subsequent watches.

People often focus on the main characters and their dialogue, but later noticing the people who had only one or two lines that wasn't a focal point in the scene but are really funny come to light after seeing it sometimes.

Basically it totally depends on the comedy.

Tombstone being off the list is an abomination.

Tombstone is 3 hours plus and has the nearly unwatchable love story element taking up a good chunk of that. Some major editing would have improved that movie tremendously. IMHO

This is a good one. Seen it a million times. The first 10 minutes are pure genius. I do have a tendency to lose interest after...

    Pyle kills Gunnery Sargent Hartman.

No contest, literally must have watched it dozens of times. It's the first movie I ever actually remember watching, and it's supposed to be getting a 3D re-release, which is awesome for me because I never got to see it on the big screen.

Theres no way you could make that movie today, despite the fact that Richard Pryor wrote half of the content.

Spinal Tap has been mentioned, but pretty much all the Guest/McKean/Shearer/O'Hara/Leavy mockumentaries are gold.

Also pretty much any John Hughes movie. Just had my 12 year-old twins watch "Uncle Buck" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". "Buck" got a great big "meh", but they're all in on "Ferris".

And a guilty pleasure is "Cocktail". Can't say "no" to a young Elisabeth Shue.

    "My legs are sweatin' Mama"

That movie is such a guilty pleasure. Great soundtrack, too.

And it captured that time PERFECTLY! Hell, half my friends parents were Bud and Sissy 10 - 15 years on. My older sisters friends parents were Uncle Bob and Aunt Corrine...and that was in Spring.

"All cowboys ain't dumb. Some of 'em got the smarts real good...like me."

    Got it on DVD!
