Binged Star Trek Discovery. The main character is all over the place but the secondary characters are good. The storyline was much better in the 2nd season. Started rewatching the Newsroom. Fantastic writing.
Binged this a couple months ago. Really, really good. Have finally gotten around to "Ozark"...halfway through Season 2. It just keeps getting crazier and crazier. Binged most of Season 4 of "Last Chance U" this past weekend. Better than ever. Jason Brown is trash. Watching the current seasons of "The Handmaid's Tale" and "Big Little Lies".
The last tsars on Netflix. Pretty informative I didn’t know much about Russian history. @RocketsLegend will have to help too
Starting S2 of Orville. Cringey yet watchable sci-fi... If JJ Abrahms created a mainstream vision for Trek (It's like Star Wars, derp), MacFarlane has a different one closer to its roots.
I only watched season 1 but you should go over to Red Letter Media YouTube page watch their reviews of the show. It's hilarious how much they despise it as pure Trek fans. I didn't watch season 2 but watched their season recap and it was hilarious.
Any documentary recommendations on the "Big 3" platforms? (netflix, hulu, amazon) Just watched 'Sour Grapes' and 'The Perfect Bid' on netflix. The former was a pretty good documentary on a subject/world that I know nothing of. 'Perfect Bid' felt like it was a sort of click bait. Spoiler It made it seem like the premise was a dude that was banned/accused of cheating for getting perfect bids on "The Price is Right".
Just finished Jessica Jones. I didn't understand the ending with Jessica hearing the voice. Have to finish Barry, TheTick S2, and still trying to get through Marvel Agent's amongst the other comic shows like Arrow, legends, supergirl. I'll wait for Doom patrol season to finish along with Young Justice before I do a free trial to binge the rest of the season I didn't get to see. Sneaky Pete s3 was great and I'm about to start s3 of Banshee
This is such a good show. Never did like British comedy but this funny as hell. Its good writing when you can have one persons life fall apart at every turning point, yet that person is the one glue that can hold everybody elses life together as well.
I liked Season 1, but the new one blew me away. One of the most clever, tightly-written comedies I've seen in a long time.
