His per 36 shooting rates and percentages really took a leap this last year. From 5ish 3s and 11-12 ish FG at 43 ish percent to 9.3 attempts from 3 and 14.6 attempts at 39 percent. But 41.5 from 3. So no cotton shots for McLemore either. Looks like he was avg 8 min/game this last year. Hopefully he fits in better here.
From what I understand, even with his athleticism and ability to shoot the 3, he still sucks horribly.
The mentality of a true couch potato. If you knew how to play the game, you wouldn't view talented players as "scrubs".
This guy was a stud shooter/scorer with the Kings but just fell off fast. If he can atleast by semi productive which under Mike he might be it’s a win
I actually like McClemore in theory. We'll see how that translates to reality. But I like his length and athleticism and I think he has the ability to be a good shooter. I like this signing.
Good situation for him, like everyone has said, another gerald green. He can catch lobs and shoots decent enough.
I'm someone who works on his game every single day. Nobody in the NBA is a scrub. We work our lives for opportunities like this.
Good news is he won't have to do anything but sit on the perimeter on O and try to stay in front of someone on D.
As expected, no real guaranteed money. They can cut him if he doesn't earn a roster spot without having risk of going into the tax.
There are plenty of “players” that are complete dumbasses and don’t understand anything. Truly meaningless... If you have played, you would know that players are the first to say that Rashad McCants was the GOAT, and Gerald Green was black Jesus, but never got a chance. They were also the first ones to say that Yao couldn’t play, and Dirk, etc.
Yeah, so the idea is to compare NBA players to NBA players, not to regular Joe's. I like Mclemore, but he does need to improve.
