No...has nothing to do with "Selling out", it has everything to do about ignoring a bigotry and racism to further your own agenda. I don't use the word sellout, I use the word opportunist. Candice Patton is a PRIME example of that.

"Go back to where you came from" is something that has been told to me much of my life from other Americans. I was born in Houston, Texas, went to college in California and now live in Minnesota. So yes this is a real issue that is meant to mark someone as an other who's loyalty is and identity as an American are always suspect.

That said this is a big and intentional distraction. It is something that does need to be brought up but frankly not worthy of the national obsession over it. Every American knows what Trump is and calling him and his supporters "racists" and "bigots" actually hardens their support. Just look over many of the responses on this thread. Trump knows this and is counting on it. He's counting on this as getting his base riled up while distracting from other issues.. It is a sad commentary on the state of our culture but Trump will not be defeated by focusing on his racism.

I agree that everything is absolutely not racist. Trump's tweets absolutely were racist.

Again look at the evidence.

Racists believe it was racist and expressed their joy about it.
Groups whose existence is dedicated to fighting racism believe it was racist.
Add to that Trump's history of making antisemitic and racist comments and actions.

Answer me this one question.

Has Trump told any white politicians who have voiced the same, equal or even more extreme complaints about policies of the United States to go back and fix the countries from which they came?

 

Has there been any white politicians that expressed their hatred towards America and American values that have formed an alliance and endlessly demean his presidency? Just curious, maybe there has.

 

There have been instances where Bernie Sanders and others have said almost identical things to these women.

What do you mean by hatred towards America and American values and demeaning the presidency? Do you mean like calling America garbage (Trump) claiming that the president was born in Kenya and wasn't actually an American (Trump)? Do you mean equating America's foreign policy with that of Putin? (Trump)

 

How can two people who posted this have any credibility at all?
