I saw some talking smack about dekker which I think very poor from rockets fans..... we’re always concerned about what a player can’t do and not what they do....instead of worrying about what he isn’t, let’s talk about what he is: 6’9” with length and athleticism,hustles hard , decent rebounding (offense too) finishes hard and run the floor hard. Is he a great shooter? No but how is he a worse shooter than anyone on the team other than eric? Because from my eyes most of our players are average to slightly below average shooters. Non are consistent... and in Mike’s system a guy like Sam can be reborn.... My only concern about Sam is that I feel like he’s done what he’s wanted with his basketball career..... which is ..... get a bad ass woman and be able to live a better than average life...and if so kudos to him

Honestly does nothing for me. He isn’t a special athlete, he isn’t especially skilled from the outside and he isn’t anything noteworthy defensively. I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve a look from someone, I just am not overly impressed with him so far in the NBA.
