Nope. Almost anything is more important than "trumped-up" charges of racism. The left wields it because it's the only tool it has in its toolkit. And it's an outdated tool at that.
I look forward to watching Trump lose in a landslide if his ass isn't impeached by then. Trump supporters are pathetic. LOL. I've never been more confident that our current cuck in chief is going to lose by possibly even historical numbers that would put his lying ass in a tailspin or whatever "truth" you suckers will believe.
What if, indeed, based on 70+ years of evidence... the orange man is bad? What he tweeted about 4 American politicians was beyond bad. I keep thinking of, like, your neighbor's house is on fire. Someone starts calling the fire department. Someone else starts running around the neighborhood warning people that the fire is spreading. And this one guy is like, "oh yadda yadda, you've been yelling about a fire for the last twenty minutes. We get it, fire bad. We've heard you, buddy. And let me guess -- you think I should maybe take the fire seriously. Find a new line of argument."
Honestly all you have is platitudes. Do you think it's a racist trope that is used for a long time to tell US citizens of color in a disagreement to "go their home country"? Yes or no?
That's fine. I'm not here to change your mind. I was wanting to spark a discussion on something else but you're welcome to think whatever. But there's that funny swing vote constituency you have yet to discuss. You know, the ones that determine who gets power in Congress. I wonder why that is?
When Republicans were not happy in 2008 or 2012, should they have just left the country for a right wing totalitarian state like North Korea?
"faux outrage" is claiming a war on Christmas because a department store has a "happy holidays" banner displayed. "Faux outrage" isn't people condemning the President of the United States for telling US citizens who are not white to "go home" because of political disagreements.
Well, the poll you posted is specifically about white non-college likely voters in swing states. It could be important for the 2020 Democratic candidate to make some incremental gain in this demographic to carry the election, but that is a pretty narrow slice of the entire body politic. You can't really say those 4 are defining the Democratic party based on recognition and favorability polls on one demographic in a handful of states. There are lots of other constituencies and races the Democratic party needs to juggle at the same time. But, speaking generally, I agree with you that what Trump is trying to do is to talk about AOC and Tlaib a lot to make them prominent, insist on how crazy and communist they are, and then tie them around the necks of all the other Democrats. He can probably defend his white non-college heartland turf with this strategy. He might at the same time be driving up minority and urban turnout to lose that way. We'll know when it is over.
What if, 60+ million voters don't agree? What if the "fire" you're yelling about is in fact just a campfire?
As a Democrat of long standing, I can tell you what I think. In my opinion, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a 29 year old freshman congresswoman who is a Democratic Socialist of the type that has been popular in Western Europe for the last several decades. In Western Europe, the young woman would merely be a young, articulate member of Parliament in any one of half a dozen countries. She does not represent mainstream Democrats, the large majority of the party. Not at all. The reason she's gotten so much attention is that she's intelligent, articulate, attractive, and photogenic. That, and one other reason. She's been seized upon by today's Republican Party, headed by a racist who appeals to the far-right majority of a minority party, and propped up as something she is not, a "leading light" of Democrats. She's a bright, left-wing Democrat celebrated by a relatively small percentage of the Democratic Party, who is being demonized by the GOP for their own political purposes, and it's far from the first time that's happened. Her influence is wildly overstated, in my opinion (which @glynch will disagree with) and what influence she has is due more to her being foisted upon the nation by the GOP as the "Dear Leader" of the Democratic Party. Proof? We now have Republican members of the Senate "accusing" her and the 3 women the GOP has lumped together as Communists. Communists! We heard that idiotic statement from none other than Lindsey Graham, who has the late John McCain rolling over in his grave by sucking up to Mr trump, lips planted firmly on his butt cheeks. Why is he acting like an utter ass? He's running for reelection in 2020 and is fearful of getting on the wrong side of loudmouth Liar and Racist in Chief, donald trump. Naturally, my opinion, one I think is quite true. I hope you all enjoyed it.
He's definitely a cuck. No man need pay for the company of another lady if he's got game. Trump is the cucky F-350 super wheel type with a droopy tired weiner. He's the type to need to drop his ATM receipt in the company of a lady to show how much money he has because his game is zero. He's also cucky to Xi with this trade war of stupidity. Cuckster in chief with cucky supporters.
Or when it’s raining and the whole neighborhood is running around in the streets yelling the sky is falling except the rational ones.
Calling such a clearly voiced statement "trumped up" is simply your way of defending trump and avoiding admitting you support what he says and tweets. I get it... no need to pretend otherwise. You support him and his thinking... own it.
