The next four years are everything.

The timelines match. The contracts match. Harden, Westbrook, Capela -- 4 years. That's it.

I don't think fans will have any right to complain going forward.

Rockets are completely leveraged out; gave up multiple future draft picks. It's an all or nothing proposition. Morey obliged his franchise superstar and his new owner; gave them what they demanded.

So now this is it. There is no going back.

If things don't work out with Westbrook, don't expect another major overhaul next summer. Morey has no assets to move a massive contract again.

This is not a pessimistic outlook. In fact, I am very hopeful this will work out. The Rockets will win it all.

However, I just want to point out the sobering reality that this will be the entirety of the Harden era in Houston -- 7 seasons of wheeling, dealing, and flipping assets, since Harden's arrival and here we are. These next 4 years will be the grand finale.

No more rabbits left to pull out of hats.

Now, Harden, Westbrook, D'Antoni, and the Rockets must win!

Let’s see what happens. Everyone said CP3 and Harden wouldn’t work and it would have had CP not gotten hurt.

Yep. Skip and Stephen A both agree we got better. Their word isnt the say all be all though.....ppl had the same criticisms about CP3 coming over and we were 1 hamstring away from a title but that's over now. CP3 is not that same guy.

I dont respect the lack of it thats for sure.
Hes also one of the greatest PGs ever and has a tremendous bball IQ and is an efficient shooter. I dont care about his contract there is no gurantee we couldnt win the chip with him on the squad this year.

    Yup.

Wild card here is our sleep deprived GM. He'll definitely need extra scouting to make up for picks...like a Costco sized bundle of undrafted talent and toilet paper sized bundles for ten day contracts.
