    What would the Depth Chart be

    CP3 - Rivers - Harden
    Westbrook - Harden - Green
    Harden - Weskbrook - House
    PJ - Clark
    Capela - Hartenstein?

    Pat Riley beating Daryl Morey for Russell Westbrook is not a loss. The Rockets are better standing pat than giving up Paul, Gordon or Capela for the ultimate me-first player in Westbrook.

    If the Rockets told him they would sign him, trade him, and then he gets waived and paid then he would collect the check. It would be a favor to Nene. Wherever he gets traded is not going to want to keep him. Rockets could send cash allotment in trade. I am not saying this is happening or probable but merely it is possible. These are the last 2 tools we have right now to recover ANYTHING. This would recover the Ryno contract slot. I want it used or I do not believe this team is interested.

    As to Westbrook I am only interested in the trade to jettison CP3s contract for something else without consequences. I would promise OKC the stars and moon in regard to picks if they help us get everything we want. Presti wants a war chest that would make Ainge blush. Adams will be going after Brodie to somewhere. Who contending needs a C, Clippers but who needs and has picks? Boston. Presti will become the new Ainge with cap, young players and endless picks to rinse and repeat like he did originally. He just won’t have the same talent in the drafts. I think that is the hidden secret that everyone is missing. From 2002 through 2009 we had a series of historic drafts. We act like those grow on trees.

    If we got Westbrook for Shump, Gordon, and a bunch of minimums then I’m totally for it but no way would I give up 3/5 of our starters for him.

    You said that he had 3 knee surgeries and had missed a big chunk of games last year when he really only missed 9.

    73 games
    The man has literally only had 2 season where he played less than 70 games. May want to check your facts again.

    Lol why does everyone think Westbrook is good in transition? Is it because he dunks and makes mean faces? The dude sucks in transition, one of the worst players in the league.

    The only way I see Westbrook making us better is in the transition and pushing the pace which would pair him with CP well. Everything else... he might be a net negative.

    I’ve always wanted Westbrook to develop a post game. But I would want him to lead our bench with a big like Faried, leaving EGo to rotate between starting and bench based on the matchup.

    the 1 thing I would say is that all Harden, Russ, CP0, Morey, and MDA need is 1 ring to secure their legacies...a bunch of polarizing individuals that could finally give the middle finger to all of their haters with just 1 title

    what i do know is every trade/signing that has gotten leaked we never complete

    Bosh
    Butler
    McGee
    Igoudala
    Westbrook

    the ones that happen out of no where are the real ones

    Harden/CP3

    now that the westbrook trade has been leaked for days now I don't think it is happening

    Or OKC is using Miami as leverage to get more from us....

    We shall see
