This thread is just for fun so chill if you don’t like my comparisons. Post your own! Perhaps this is just the byproduct of being so bored during the ASG break because we have to watch one of the best Astros regular seasons ever. Anyways, the comparison game got me thinking... Alvarez: Carlos Delgado Altuve: Pete Rose Springer: Dale Murphy Bregman: Chipper Jones Correa: really hard...almost doesn’t have a comp, somewhere between A-Rod and healthy Tulo Reddick: Derek Bell Yuli: more versatile Kevin Young White: trashcan Jake: Darin Erstad JV: Ryan Cole: Beckett Legends bracket: Keuchel: Hampton Marwin: Zobrist CFM: Wainwright
Bregman: Scott Rolen Altuve: Joe Morgan Correa: A-Rod Springer: Dave Winfield Alvarez: David Ortiz Brantley: Moises Alou Gurriel: Julio Franco Chirinos: kid that touches the lighter in Stargate the motion picture
Alvarez- 02 Bonds Correa- Renteria Altuve- Roberto alomar Springer- andruw Jones Brantley - Larry Walker Reddick- Andy Van slyke Bregman- Bret Boone (mariners version) Yuli- Derek Lee Chirinos- Dan Wilson
I wasn't sure how Harden/Paul/Westbrook would be on this team if we had to give up Gordon, but Harden/Westbrook/Gordon is very intriguing
Fairly to you, he's one of the few who has the eye at the plate, K/BB, like Bregman does, he just doesn't have nearly the pop (or the popups?). And he's not a 3bman. And he's a Masshole.
LOL, that is why I thought of Pedroia to begin with. Bregman came out with this confidence I've never seen before from a rook. But it showed his mentality when he was something like 1 for 27 to start but he was constantly hitting the ball hard. To many Bregman is a bit of an a-hole outside of Houston I'm sure (and that game winning hit in the world series didn't help much to alleviate that notion
