Seems a bit biased. Not surprising on Clutchfans concerning Westbrook.

Fact is that Westbrook is an excellent player. I know you guys hate to hear that, but it is true. (And we have his perfect sidekick in James Harden, who excels at everything that Westbrook is dreadful at. They are a perfect match Westbrook and Harden...)

I thought the title said “do not have interest” and felt relieved. Wouldn’t mind being the third team with Westbrook heading elsewhere.

Correct, I am heavily biased towards good players, hence my dislike for WB.

Westbrook isn't a perfect match with anyone. Turns out high volume, low efficiency, no defense players just don't win.

i wasn't offended, just puzzled that you were pointing out who voulgaris is, as basically everyone in this forum already knows of him. and you are actually right about how i've been utilizing my online time. i should probably ignore morey/randoms and just concentrate more on friends, as well as friends here in this forum. to this end, this shall be my final reply to you

I’m sorry, Deuce, but.....Kevin Love? A star? In 2015, maybe. Not so much now.

The Rockets have been in a win-now mode for the last 7-8 years. At some point they need to realize Paul isn’t good enough to win it all and they need to start over or trade him for another good player. Adding Westbrook does no good if you give up EG and Capela. If they can unload his salary for Westbrook it’s a risk worth taking unless they want to get rid of everyone and start over.

If we could offload Paul's contract for Westbrook's...100% do it.

Paul has lost more than a step. He is on a steep and rapid decline. Westbrook, as idiotic as he can be at times, has way more upside. He's still one of the most explosive players in the NBA. The biggest issue with him is obviously his shot selection. But we aren't winning anything with Paul so might as well blow this thing up and pair prime Harden with a prime Westbrook while we can.

Can everyone stop acting like CP3 is better than Westbrook at this point!!
Westbrook and Harden need each other to make each other better IMO.
Both Harden and Westbrook are 2 guards who miss almost NO GAMES and at least one guy has passion, heart, and fire to win at all cost.
I’ll take a passionate player over a guy who may or may not show up in the PO or may go down with an injury.
Westbrook plays defense and will definitely push Harden just as Harden will push Westbrook.
We can agree that Houston is Hardens team which I’m sure Westbrook will understand if he wants to win. Not to mention he and Harden are best friends and will do anything to win.

I'm really hoping it happens at this point.

If the Rockets can get Russ just by giving up CP and some 1st rounders, I think the team can jump right back into legit title contention. Harden and D'Antoni would reignite Westbrook, I can just feel it.

The Rockets first round picks, which are likely to fall in the 25-30 range don't carry the same value as the imaginary potential Clutchfans puts in them. Morey has dangled 4 first round picks before and gotten no traction whatsoever for them.

Realistically, if the Rockets are going to acquire a another quality starter, they will have to give up at least two picks.

Finally, I did make it clear losing Gordon will be tough, but considering he's expiring soon and we are facing an onslaught of LeBron, Kawhi, George, etc in the playoffs, the Rockets desperately need to upgrade the wing position with a solid defender next to Tucker because House, Green, etc are going to be massive liabilities in the playoffs.

I like Winslow because he's the right fit and the right contract. You don't always need to chase a star. Sometimes, adding the right player goes a long way.

I believe Winslow will have great synergy with Tucker playing 3-and-D on the wing.

Nonetheless, Clutchfans can keep rolling their eyes and hoarding their imaginary assets if they'd like, I'm good with making a solid move over blindly chasing another star.

The amount of time it’s taking for this trade.i think okc is waiting for a dark horse which is not Miami, Houston or minny. Okc May want to wait until the Knicks free agents hit the December 15 mark

There could be another dark horse out there

Or they will spectacularly implode. Either way it will be entertaining and worth the risk.

The problem is Westbrook wont realize it is Hardens team. This going to be a problem.
Westbrook is good but would not fit. Harden is no "sidekick". Unless WB is playing the 3, and willing to completely play off ball if we keep CP3 and still have to play off alittle if dont keep CP3. Westbrooks game is predicated on having the ball in his hands.

I'd rather have a 55 game a season CP3 than have Westbrook on my team.

    No thanks.
