We almost won the championship immediately after that, except for the worst possible injury at the worst possible time, so it's hard to get mad and revise history 2 years later.

Morey's new recruitment strategy needs to be six pronged.

    1. Our owner isn't rich enough. Ballmer has 50 billion dollars. Morey needs to use those MIT brains to develop an investment scheme to exponentially grow Tillman's billions. Once Tillman is worth 100 billion we will be a much more desirable destination.
    2. Lead the charge in a massive environmental initiative to change the color of water in Galveston to blue/transparent and import white sand to it's beaches.
    3. Work with climate scientists and the government to fix Houston's climate. It's too hot and humid. Los Angeles has perfected weather and I refuse to believe we cannot do the same.
    4. Lobby for a state backed plan to incentivize tens of thousands of instagram models to move to Houston and also bolsters our already thriving gentleman's club scene. Perhaps makes Gentleman's Clubs tax free - like a Church.
    5. Lobby for a plan that slashes taxes for marketing and media agencies enabling it to become a place in which our players can receive more spotlight and endorsements. Perhaps it's time for Nike to move from Oregon to Houston? What about Hollywood? I see no reason Morey cannot make that happen.
    6. Institute a plan that financially incentivizes elite athletes who are about to give birth to move to Houston and raise their children here.
This is a long term plan but by the year 2046 star free agents should be battling to return to their hometown of Houston with it's beautiful beaches, perfect weather, beautiful instagram models, lavish gentleman's clubs, media and endorsement advantages and the wealthiest owner in all of sports.

WHY HASN'T MOREY ALREADY TAKEN THESE VERY SIMPLE STEPS TO IMPROVE OUR TEAM?

p.s. Morey, if you're reading this, you clearly need someone who can think outside of the box and I am your guy. Holler at me. Or at least subscribe to my newsletter.

We had two windows of opportunities to make it to the finals and we missed it/blew it. Morey made the right call with CP3, who wanted to play here, it just sucks that it wasn't a Kawhi or PG that wanted to get locked up here.

California became part of the United States in 1848 after the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.

Damn you, collapsed government of General Herrera, you gave LA their biggest asset and totally screwed us!

Jerry West, Doc Rivers and the Clippers being in Los Angeles had much more to do with Kawhi picking them than Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams.

No. They traded Chris Paul and Blake Griffin and then Tobias Harris for all of that. Definitely well done, but not so well done as you'd like to make us think.

Pretty sure 7 picks is what got the attractive core.

Just me or is this clippers team not as strong as the raptors championship squad?

Never been a fan of Paul George. He’s as overhyped as it gets. Maximum hype. Honestly the thunder with all them picks is scarier to me.

These “suck” players and team made the playoffs. They can’t be that bad. Definitely not Championship caliber but now with Leonard and George they become instant contender with above average role players.

Wouldn't be surprised if west makes another trade before the season is over.

    This.

How many stars did Jerry West attract when he ran the Grizzlies? How many titles did they win?

Leonard wanted to go to LA because he is from LA. Paul George grew up outside of LA and wanted to play in LA. LA is a place with possibly the highest quality of life in the US if you have money and it is a huge media market.

No one is going to LA because of Lou Williams.

We also now know why Leonard wanted no leaks.

The only fans that should be pissed are Lakers fans. Leonard met the Lakers to see how serious they are to win.... and he is a Clipper, what does that tell you?

    This +1million

It's the location. Miami can get hotter than Houston.

We're not that great a place w/o Harden.
