I agree but Avery Bradley is tailor made to play alongside Harden. Dead eye 3pt shooter and lock down defender. Only 28 but 11 year vet. So much more flexibility for Rockets too.
I watched a couple games where he looked really good. He looked so good (in the games I watched) I thought Memphis got good value for that Clippers trade. Surprised they waved him.
For sure. Sadly he’s the type of player that probably would pick a team like ours, but we can’t be filling up our roster spots on non front court players.
Haha, yea. Point guards vs guards though. D'Antoni likes ball handlers and creators, that is not Bradley.
His defense is not gonna magically just disappear, he needs a better situation imo. Would love him at vet min
Younger Pat-Bev, He can defend, he can shoot three points, which is very suitable for us (Harden & CP3)
Honestly surprised Danny Green was the only immediate signing to drop after the deal, I thought it would have legit been 5+ players.
I don't know what happened, but last year when he was a Clipper, his defense was pretty bad. Still, if we can get him at a not so high price(less than the rest of our MLE, preferably vet min), it's still good because we can have more options. If he fits well, we can ship Gordon for some decent wings(Covington for example), if not, I don't think AB with 500M salary is a terrible contract that needs a lot to trade. It only hurts our chance to get other free agents, which IMO doesn't really matter because there are very few good ones left.
doubt he wants to come for the min and morey wants to save mle for iggy he would get way more playing time on either LA teams now who are desperate in signing as many FAs as possible.
