As a person who actually liked it when Luc was in the lineup more than Ariza, no. He was injured essentially all year last year.
Washed? How do you even know he hasn’t played. We don’t have any medical info on him. All we know is the Rockets wanted to signed him this year with non-bird rights I believe, last year.
He only played four games last year due to knee issues, which he had surgery for in March. He's been sidelined since then. How are we supposed to tell whether he's recovered until he's resumed full basketball activities? It's safer to assume he's not ready rather than assume he's healthy again.
No, it’s really not. You ask the doctors what the time table is for recover. If he has completed that and everything went as scheduled you should assume he is good to go.
I'm going to disagree. He kept teasing that he was close to coming back throughout the season, but never did. And it's not like his injury with us was the first of his career. He's been saddled with injuries many times. He missed 21 games for us plus the first round of the playoffs. He missed almost all of last season with a sore knee that he just had surgery on. Plus he's 32 and will be 33 years old before the next season starts. Hard to believe he'll his injuries are completely in the past. If he were an iron man like PJ, who's only missed a handful of games since rejoining the NBA in 2012, then I'd be willing to trust whatever timeline his doctors initially estimated. Assuming he's 100% good to go, and will remain that way throughout the season, is like saying CP3 isn't a risk for injury either.
https://clipperholics.com/2019/03/29/la-clippers-luc-season-surgery/ I'd happily take Luc for the min, high reward, low risk. I think we should really get one or both of Luc and Sefolosha, dudes make huge impacts on D when healthy.
Lol did he have surgery on that dislocated shoulder while he was out with a knee injury last year? No? Then that’s also my answer to whether or not I want him back.
Do you notice how many Africans that the Raptors have? The Rockets sully Hakeem's legacy by their lack of Africans.
