I need a report saying the Rockets got turned town while offering more money. There is no backup center on the team right now.

WCS, Noel and KOQ all went for the vet min, and here we are with no backup C, a need to get younger, with the best PnR ball handlers in the league who blow up centers #'s...

    Confused.

slightly above the minimum? what is going on? I hate the warriors so much

Morey has to be working on something moderately big. Pure radio silence when they’ve been running their mouths since April.

This is what is possible when a team spends their money, uses their cap space etc. Must feel great...

NBA needs to do an investigation into these under the table payments. How is this possible?

If he stayed a RFA he would get paid more, but looks like his priority in this decision wasn't that.
He's a weird dude, and lazy.

Golden State Warriors have 3 players over the age of 24.
8 players are under the age of 23. The youngest one is 18.
They are on the process of rebuilding. They are youngest team in the nba.

How much money do the Warriors have left to spend?

So far their roster contains Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Kevon Looney, D’Angelo Russell, Damian Jones, Jordan Poole, and Jacob Evans for a total salary of $129,623,215. Guaranteeing Alfonzo McKinnie’s second year would take the total to $131,211,446. Waiving and stretching Shaun Livingston’s $2m guaranteed salary for the 2019/20 season would add $666,667, taking the total to $131,878,113.

Second-round picks Eric Paschall and Alen Smailagic could both sign deals starting at $898,310. In Smailagic’s case, he was expected to sign a two-way deal meaning his salary wouldn’t count against their cap. However the starting minimum for second round picks is $722,254 lower than a two-year veteran minimum deal, which is what counts against the cap for any minimum signing who has greater than two years service in the league, so it makes sense to sign him to a full contract and pocket that saving.

If the Warriors do sign both Paschall and Smailagic to rookie contracts they’ll be at $133,674,733 with 11 players on the roster. That leaves just $5,253,267 left to split between three veteran minimum players. The total of three veteran minimum contracts is $4,861,692. For the whole of the season, the Warriors will have just $391,575 to spend and just 14 players on the roster, one of whom in Thompson will likely be out for much of the year if not all of it.

the Warriors The taxpayer Mid-Level Exception

The other casualty of the Warriors summer is their potential to use their taxpayer MLE of around $5.2m to add depth. There’s no opportunity now to add anyone for more than the veteran minimum.

Kinda crazy they have 3 centers now, i guess they don't really trust Jones.
