After MIA stepping in Butler trade HOU should return the favor and contact WAS about Beal.. In the very least drive up the cost for MIA.
I've been saying that I want Beal for a while.. I'd trade Gordon & Capela (possibly for picks), plus I'd give up several more of our own 1st rounders to get him... The hope is they will commit to the rebuild.
My body is ready for Riley to some how get Beal and Butler when he had no plan to even get Butler. It feels like the NBA helps certain GM's and certain teams.
Because they're going nowhere for at least two years, and in two years Beal will leave. Tbh, i think Washington should definitely trade him when he's at his best in terms of value cause: - they'll lose him anyway - they won't even make the playoffs this season
If they're smart they'll trade him at some point this season, although the Wizards are definitely not smart so, you never know. But if that happends i think Ainge will be all over him, he can't miss the opportunity again, Brown, Memphis pick and other assets, i think he has enough to make a good offer.
I could see us getting in the mix. They don't have a good center option, and Gordon could probably fetch a first. Capela, 1st (Gordon), 2020 Houston 1st, non-guaranteed players for salary matching
I wonder if Riley would be cool with moving Bam, Winslow, Herro and take back Wall in a deal for Beal, if he's willing to do that he might have a chance.
I would love to see this. Wall’s contract is worse than Paul and he’s not even on the same level as current CP3
They would be also without a center and at the 4 they would be forced to play JJ who looked washed last season so, i don't really see it tbh, also cause Bam imo is really really good, they should really keep him, but without him in the trade i'm not sure they can get Beal, they can't trade picks, Winslow is ok, nothing special...i just don't see the Wizards give up Beal just to unload Wall.
I like Beal the player, but in terms of teams needs I rank SF first PF second and both positions above the height of 6'6 third.
Gordon and Capela easily match salary. And why this is a legit offer, Washington doesn’t want to trade him.
