He was.. And I'm sure the Rockets' system and playing with Harden and Paul was friendly to him, but he was still solid in the regular season. I didn't expect he would get many offers after the playoffs he had, but you never know.
This is great. I’m already happy with this offseason House was a huge priority. He could be for us what Robert Covington was suppose to be l. A true 3 and D sf. Just need to start him and keep building his confidence
+1, therockclapping.gif, espnguy_raising_rocks_glass_salute.gif. Instead, we'll get Feigen reading press releases, and those cretins on 610 now saying they're not sure if Butler would actually have been an upgrade.
that sucks since we won't be able to get a major addition using the full NTMLE if we don't add butler
In all seriousness, good for him but they could have given him this during the season. If they're using the $9.2 MLE, fine but if this is the $3.7M of the $5.7M MLE, I don't like it.
has anyone in here even looked at his stats from playoffs? lol idk how tf you can be excited about that. 5 pts... 0.1 ast... 3 reb... .258 3pt%... in 20min..... GAME CHANGER
I don't like it either, but maybe we were not going to get one of the guys we wanted with those 3.5M more and thus they used them on House? Just a guess trying to make some sense out of this. I think the BAE should be around 3/3.5M but maybe you can't sign a player for more than two years with that exception, is this true @justtxyank ?
Wow, we signed Green and House......in the meantime, all the real help goes elsewhere. Green and House will not help us win the championship!
House has greater potential to exceed value on deal than not. LOVE this deal. I think the best is yet to come and he could become one of the better 6th men in league, especially at value.
I really liked House during the year, before the playoffs.. but am I the only one that forgot this dude existed?
