James Harden is becoming the most hated player in the NBA

It’s all LA and bandwagon warrior fans and sad knick fans that hate.

This is obvious but winning a championship would destroy the argument against James Harden. It's clear that whenever Harden is brought up as one of the greats of the game, talking-heads bring up his playoff record.

Even if the conversation is about MVP, guys like Broussard bring up his last playoff game against the Warriors or the 13 turnover game against them a few years back. Until the Rockets win the title, Harden will continue to face the criticism, warranted or not.

 

This all started when salty ass Steve Kerr "accidentally" sent a tweet instead of a DM about calling Harden's step back a travel.

 

I think the criticism will continue even if he wins the title
they will just put an asterix next to it ( he got friendly whistle didnt in fact deserved it etc)

If you're not being hated on, you're doing something wrong. Harden is completey dominating the league rn. He single handedly defeated Warriors, on their home court, even with the ref's giving calls to the dubs in O.T. The man is a beast, so yes, the hate is real, and I love it

 

Not since Jim beat the Warriors. I haven't heard Z-Dog say Harden's beard smells like weed or even reference the baconator once. That'll probably change though next time we crush the Jazz.

 

It’s mainly his play style - the way he rides that fine line between legal and illegal play. This combined with the fact that he’s extremely skilled and putting up video game numbers on everyone’s favorite team makes him hated.

His beard is a brand now, but do you think it brings even more hate? Gives him more of a villain look even though he’s a chill dude.

 

I saw an article on CBS news today that said "Neay 100% of people would agree that Anthony Davis is a better basketball player than Harden", thereby revealing, within a single sentence, the writer's complete ignorance of Davis, Harden, and statistics. The writer then goes on to question why Davis can't carry the Pelicans in the same way that Harden carries the Rockets. Like, seriously, you can't figure out the answer? But, this writer's (and the entire national media's) irrational and absolute contempt for Harden has literally made him incapable of seeing the readily observable answer to his question. It's like the equivalent of wondering, "why do more guys prefer ****ing skinny girls over obese ones?" This national scale bias and hatred of Harden is unbelievable.

Harden can drag nobodies to top seeds cause he’s a lot better player than Davis.

AD had been the most hyped played since Kentucky.

He’s the new KG and he’s not even that good, atleast KG had his teams in the playoffs.

The players around AD is better than what harden has been playing with the last 10
Games.

One guy has 1 loss in that span the other guy I think has maybe 1 win.

AD is a great talent he’s not a great player.

It's amusing that with all the AD is better than Harden nonsense... those same people can't seem to question why AD couldn't do anything with Ego and Ryno.

Yet look what Harden did with them.

The ignorance and blatant disregard for common sense from people in today's society is staggering. In all aspects of life.

 

Not a great video... I hate how even some people who think they're playing devil's advocate or they're so smart because they're being open minded about Harden' game completely fail to understand James' game. Yes, he gets to the line a lot, and FTs are just part of the game, but that is just a small part of what makes him so good.

Even if you completely remove free throws from the game (which you shouldn't because, again, it's an important part of the game, and it's a worthwhile skill to get there), James Harden would STILL be leading the NBA in scoring, and would STILL be doing so *highly* efficiently for a volume scorer. Also, every single scoring superstar in league history has averaged 10+ FTs/game in their best years. 15 FTs is not an "average" night for Harden by any means. He averages 11 FTs right now.

Yes, he gets a cheap call or so most games, and occasionally does some cheesy **** I wish he wouldn't (like hooking a defender's arm and drawing a foul), but they also miss a couple obvious calls every game.

Even without FTs, Harden is one of the very best offensive players of all time. He has amazing handles, the single most devastating step back ever, ankle-breaking hesitation moves, incredible court vision and creativity, and can even rebound.

 

If you guys check the youtube video for when artest elbowed harden, the comment section is filled with fans of teams that harden has destroyed in the past few weeks. Those pathetic excuses for human beings say stuff like "harden deserved that" "here after Lakers game" "I wish this happened to him again" "so satisfying" "***** so good"
Fans of other teams are so salty that harden is soooo good
