Because it wasn't a faceless entity on a website saying what we already know. It was Woj, Nerd God of the NBA.

3 sentences of things you read before from me.

But have no fear - I have my ear to the ground: I'm hearing tremors that this deal will be completed at some point soon, provided the Rockets, the 76'ers, Butler, and a third party can reach a deal agreeable to all sides, if not, it might happen later, or not at all.

What it's going take, per my sources, is for all the moving parts to align - you can print that.

Seems like things are really heating up, no?

Did they talk about how Jimmy would inevitably harass Harden about his man boobs and make him cry?

To say Clint does not have a high iq shows that you don't have a great knowledge of basketball nuances.

All you have to do to take the alley away is to never leave Capela and always has a body on him it's not hard.

Draymont has a heinous level is and a much better skill set it's why he will probably get the max,

Please provide a list of players that can do what Jimmy Butler can do, and that are available that cost less than the max.

History shows this is wrong the vast majority of time.

What good players has he lost out on?

Yes and James Harden and Chris Paul and possibly Jimmy Butler.

Again, the narrative of the 2019 Finals is simple. The Raptors won because the Golden State Warriors were without their best player for almost the entire series. They were without Klay Thompson for 25% of the series. They played Looney after he had been ruled out for the series and they played a badly injured DeMarcus Cousins. That is why the Raptors won the series. They were in the perfect place at the perfect time, much like when the Pistons beat the Lakers years ago.

I also think it is funny that you mention the Raptors ... who won a title..... after trading for another star.

    Because WOJ said it.

Just to be clear, there is NOTHING that has changed on the Butler front.

There is no agreement and the Rockets are still long shots.

There is smoke to it and there is a chance. However, there are a lot of hurdles including the Sixers having the ability to offer him a longer deal and the Rockets needing Butler AND the Sixers to play ball.

Harden has spent time with Butler this summer. He has even worked out with him. I think their personalities actually mesh well together personally.

Still, Houston is one of 3-4 teams with a shot.
