I hate red and black more than any other color combo. And there are few sports things worse than knowing your team will be stuck for 10 years with a gross jersey. But hallelujah for the Ketchup & Mustard. Salvages it from being total misery.
The font of Rockets is not too bad, but WHY the **** is the numbers font unchanged?? Are these designers moronic or what?! It does not match you idiots. Stuck with these Pacers copies for 5 more years...look at the Raptors and how they match. There’s not a single new jersey who keeps a previous font if they change the words, but of course the Rockets did it. Bravo....surprised nobody has pointed it out. They look clean sure, but the lack of attention to detail is staggering. Who in their right mind likes this combination of different fonts?!
Also the classic ones look off as the Rokit patch is too close to the big ass Houston across the chest. It’s like they made it even bigger and actually like the fake ones sold on ebay. This is what the original looks like in case people forgot:
this was the closest i could find to those navy blue jerseys... and you gotta be a yao fan lmao https://www.collectors.com/sports-i...ba-nike-1995-rewind-swing/4114789940612066640
I hope the retros sell well and Tilman finally gets that going back to the ketchup/mustard is the best route. Also the other jerseys just give off a vibe of an identity crisis.....just go back to your roots.
Astros go back to the blue & orange Rockets can go back to the red & yellow Black, blue, gray??? @tinman when did black become a Rockets color? Spoiler
Undoing the damage Les Alexander did to the identity of the franchise is hard to reverse. @BeardNation13
