Yeah, that exact element was the issue in Minnesota. Them paying the young guys before him.

This is also why I am looking at the Lakers. Why the Lakers are SO INTENT on opening up a another max slot. I am afraid it is for Jimmy. And Jimmy loves LA.

I agree he hated being paid less than KAT and ESPECIALLY WIGGINS. But this was the Wolves refusing to max him out. Trying to nickel and dime him. In Houston he'd be less paid for a year but then he'd get his full max. Harden and CP3 both being first ballot HOF should ease any tension in pay.

IT would have to be an opt in and trade and he'd have to be ok with the pay difference and trust Tilman to make him whole. CP3 was cool with it, let's hope Butler is too.

That is what I meant, they had a major crush on Kemba way before it was known that Big Al had interest.

It's probably one or the other.

These winds a been a blowin' all over the damn place the past 24 hours, but at 3:54pm central time, they sure don't feel like they're blowing in Houston's favor......on any front....

Well that has to be expected, if you don't have cap space you're just not in the most favorable position.

    Mavs might offer 100m.

Morey is likely to offer. 3year 60m if capela trade. Can’t offord 2 old players overpaid.
    It’s over.

Telling you guys, expectations should be low this summer. It's nice to fantasize about Horford and Butler but ultimately we are bound by the salary cap rules which makes it difficult to land those kind of players.

I have my eyes set on Jae Crowder and I hope Morey is able to find a way to trade for him. I like Jamychal Green as well. Neither name is sexy, but it would keep our team competitive next year.

harden HATES crowder though, they almost get into it nearly every time they meet up. and harden typically gets along with basically every player in the league

I would hope they can find a way to co-exist. Crowder would be a very good role player in this system. Tough defender, solid shooter, reliable, we need to get him.

To be fair harden got into it with P.J. every time they played. I don’t think harden gets along with everyone. It’s become pretty clear he hates gobert lol

They're not in on a max deal, but anybody said the Mavs will max him?

    Hard capped.
Other teams offer more money to stars.
Many teams need to meet minimum team payroll.
Speak very loud with no action.

Those are Dallas guys and they don't get why Cuban would go after Horford?
