Why don't we start by acquiring a really good power forward. That would be a good place to start. There has to be somebody out there. Move Tucker to small forward where he belongs. We should have never acquired CP3 to begin with. I have never been a fan of his. All he ever does is complain and lose regardless of which team he is on.
so does james harden have to respond now after cp3? who else Tilman? PJ? how many more do people need here
Too many people don’t understand the poker game that goes on in the NBA. Reporters falling all over themselves to find “sources” and break news or rumors, agents using those same reporters to get their guys where they want them, and front offices recruiting guys all the time; many times putting other front offices down in the process. We’re near the top and have been awhile; others are gunning for us. Biggest one wears purple and gold out West and has a lot of the media in its back pocket. Lakers know we’re there and are going to use every dirty trick and “source” to keep guys away from us. We scare them.
The Media treating The Rockets like Bernie Sanders right now. It seems they are bashing us so we don't win the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes?
we also know morey is a master mind and trading is mostly a mind game. no trader wants his assets to look cheap and unwanted - that would cause reduced value in return. so yea, its a confusing AF time trying to understand the "clues" in all this
So this is what happens when you fire a whole bunch of assistant coaches, they all go talk to the media....
Smoke = fire. I said it half-heartedly earlier in the thread, but the James Harden "I know what we need to do" immediately after the season ended, indeed is the beginning of that smoke. From that, to the coaching issues, the coaching firings, the reports of everyone being on the table, the multiple reports of the potential discord, the reports on potential style changes, the DM media tour (deny, deny) Too much smoke Absolutely. Good observation.
cp3 value is what it is. wouldn't matter what he did or didn't do. hes not some promising rookie where his value fluctuates. stop over thinking
GMs outside of LA and New York don’t get to be picky for real superstars. Dwight and CP3 wanted to be here, you don’t say no to that. A bird in the hand IS worth more than 2 in the bush. We don’t get CP3 all we would have is “what if, what if”. You say no to giving Tobias Harris the max.
thats not true at all. if a team knows the player wants to leave then they have the leverage over the other team knowing they can low ball.
BUT WHO!? Morey has to find players that are not only good, but have good personalities.. You guys acting like this sh-t is easy.
