That’s a tough one! But I’d go with the greatest player in this generation over Harden any day. Bron still got it and with his early exit last year will be more than ready for this upcoming season. Lakers should be top 3 in the west, imo. The rockets will not know how to defend the Lakers and the 3/5 positions will be dominated by them. Unfortunately those are our weakness.....I feel getting jimmy is key and keeping Gordon is next in line. I hate the Lakers with a passion but the league loves the purple and gold so there’s that!!
I'll believe it when I see it - in the POST SEASON No doubt, this team can get #1 seed in the West because Harden is a regular season genius but come playoff time, this team and Harden have proven that they just can't get it done

this team is going to be worse than last year no matter what. we have no cap space, and even if we trade cp3s contract no one give us anything of that would make us any better..... the lakers are about to run the west next year barring injury. they will get some more solid pieces you can bet that. this team's chemistry and synergy has gone down the sh!tter, and the front office has simply failed to get a star in his prime to help james. also, james reputation doesnt seem to be great among players, especially after its looking like he is forcing cp3 out. does anyone seriously even WANT to play with him ? if he cant handle cp3 getting on him, what do you think butler will do ? utah will be dangerous if they get conley or d'angelo russell to pair with mitchell in the backcourt.
Lakers can't trade for CP3 because they have no salary to make the deal work unless a 3rd team gets involved.

Exactly. You don’t just break through every year and get rings. That’s not how it works, unless you’re one of the rare dynasties. It takes multiple attempts, and sometimes just never comes to pass. As much as people don’t want to admit it, there’s a lot of luck involved as well.
