Herro: .462 FG% / .355 3PT% from college 3-pt line Parsons (career): .462 FG% / .373 3PT% from NBA 3-pt line I'm not sure he's actually a better shooter. Really doesn't look like a much better shooter. And definitely not a "much, much better shooter."
Same exact story every year My realistic expectations is to actually land 1 contributor on the minimum free agent pile. Re-sign Rivers and House and jog it back with GS in disarray
He's a much better shooter. I'm a UK fan and watched every game. He was really the only offensive weapon they had outside of PJ Washington so he was constantly being face guarded and double teamed. He's also a solid defender with a high basketball IQ, and moves seamlessly without the ball. I'm calling it now. He will have a long NBA career because his skills easily translate.
Rivers and House …. One MLE. That likely means you got House for the minimum cause Rivers would likely get MLE (or better) offers. Do you really expect that no team offers him more than the Rockets can match (without using their MLE to do so).??
The key to winning in the league is to have a 7 footer who can move like a guard and shoot 3s @dmorey
Yea that’s the wildcard with house. On the market he may get slightly above the min, but we need to jump on rivers ASAP with the mle. Paul’s history and the possibility of a Gordon trade on his last year makes rivers that much more of a priority
I was....kidding. Or am I not realizing you're kidding? Morey's tendency is to draft mid-sized three point shooters. Which is tiresome. It fits too much into NBA Moneyball page 7 paragraph 3 subbullet 2.
