Clutchfans, where we now praise stars for standing in the corner and doing nothing on offense in the 4th quarter. I guess Harden game 6 vs the clippers was leadership lmao
Good for him. It's a team game. Whatever it takes to win. You go with the hot hand. I call that smart and intelligent basketball. Harden should probably learn from that and let the hot hand roll for a bit instead of demanding the ball every possession or else showing disinterest
If we weren’t at or near the top of the league at quality shot creation I guess this would be a good burn. Also efficiency at certain shot clock ranges are available for all teams. Might be surprised at how efficiently we score late in the clock.
Excuses? The Rockets team hasn't been talented enough to win a title is the point. Morey has work to do.
Huh? You do realise you need help when winning championships, right? The Raptors had their fair share of luck against the Warriors.... but that doesn't mean they didn't deserve to win. I'm just saying you need major help. You're honestly expecting Harden to carry his whole team on his back for the whole playoffs against 4/5 all stars?
Smart and intelligent for Kawhi to stand and watch. To no show? Boy you hate Harden. Congrats man! Lol
to be fair, no one else on the team could dribble twice without turning it over on our team other than Harden and Chris Paul. I think we all know what the results would be if we let Austin Rivers or Iman Shumpert handle the ball like VanVleet did
It's true. With the team and problems we had for half the season, we probably shouldn't have made the playoffs. We all know why we made the playoffs..... but these Harden haters will ignore it and find other ways to hate him.
Kawhi has teammates that rise to the occasion. Harden would pass to CP0 who would then turn the ball over lol.
If this thread just said Kawhi is better than Harden it wouldn’t be as crazy. But 100x??? If any player in the league was 100 times better than Harden we wouldn’t even need to watch NBA anymore cus that player would never lose. I want to see the guy who can average 360 pts a game
Remember when Chris Paul only had to get a shot attempt or pass off for us the win the game but he allowed a jump ball? Lol this was harder.
Remember when CP3 had a wide open 3 and chose not to shoot it? That was some of the crap he was doing in the first 5 games.
its pretty funny to see guys make their attempts at defending players. they have to throw other guys under the bus to do so lol
We did last year. We've just been really unfortunate with injuries and then losing our 2 3D wings which we weren't able to replace. People don't like to hear it but there's an insane amount of luck required to win championships unless you have overwhelming talent. Yet, you see all these hot takes that only analyze the results and not the process. Remember this? http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/shut-down-harden-and-tank.295168/ Honestly, there are alot of Rockets fans who don't know and can't appreciate how good Harden really is. Sad thing is they'll never know what we have until he's gone and we're back to a perennial 8-9 seed fighting to make the playoffs. Rockets fans making fun of our MVP when our last one was over 20 years ago... yea..
Look, from what we have seen of Harden, I am not sure too many ball handlers and creators will be successful playing next to him. His style of play where he wants the ball every possession or does nothing is just not conducive to others who want a few possessions to create and run plays. CP3 is not his former self, partly age and partly Harden Take Lou Williams for example - Most people hated him here but I think now people realize that he is a useful player who can handle the rock. It;s just that you need posessions to get going and you need your superstar to understand that and play off the ball at times make some cuts etc. You can't just be a guinea pig to feed the ball to Harden on every possession.
